Dark moon Inc.

I opened the box and saw a book at the top, a sticky note was attached to it, this book will explain any werewolf term you don't know and more about werewolves, I brought it out and put it aside, underneath it are files and papers, I brought out the first file and opened it, Dark moon inc. Was written on top of the first page, I read through it.

This is a confidential file of the Dark moon Incorporation, if found should be returned it to Alpha Saffron.

I turned the next page and read through.

Dark moon Incorporation is a company that was founded in the year 1951 2nd of October by Alpha Jacob of the Dark moon pack.

That's like seventy years ago.

The company is one of the most successful business in California, the Dark moon Incorporation is located at 3km from the Dark moon pack, pack house.....

I kept reading, I read till I reached the last page that says.

Dark moon pack has fallen with the departure of it's Alpha and Luna, if they ever come back or the next in line reclaims the pack, waltz to the dark moon Incorporation and start business again with the help of file number three.

I read, I closed the file and saw the number 1 written on it, I put the file aside as I picked a note on another file, I opened it and read.

Once you reclaim your pack and you're known as Alpha Saffron, rebuild the pack as lots of buildings are collapsed and the pack house must be a sore sight, do this with the money in the credit card that we left for you in the envelope, don't ever use the credit card for anything else until you've rebuilt Dark moon pack. Then go to Dark moon Incorporation and start running business again.

Until you are well trained and know about the world you're in, lay low, blend in, don't show your wolf out yet, and remember you have the Moon's blood in you be careful, stay safe, take care of your siblings, in three weeks you should be a ready to reclaim your pack.

I read silently, and kept the previous file and the note back and picked up the book, I don't need to know about business for now, I opened to the first page of the book, the first thing I found were words and their meaning.

Alpha- the superior leader of a pack.

Luna- the mate of the Alpha, a mother figure to the pack members, always so friendly, empathic and kind.

Oh so that's what Luna Amelia is and what my mate will be, my heart swelled at the thought.

Beta - the second in command in a pack.

Gamma - third in command in a pack, a skilled fighter.

Delta - fourth in command in a pack. Not all packs have them, they are also skilled fighters.

Pack Warriors - the pack's guards and protectors.

Mates - two people of opposite s*x who are destined to be together, paired together by the moon goddess and are tied together by the mate bond.

Mate bond - A bond found between mates, a pull that makes them always yearn for each other's touch, presence....

Moon goddess - the creator of werewolves.

Werewolf council - they are responsible for maintaining peace among werewolves.

Alpha king - The Alpha of all Alphas'

Rogue - they are dangerous werewolves who causes trouble by killing other werewolves, who belong to no pack due to either because they were either exiled or they chose that life, or they went crazy over the loss of their mates.

Pack - A group of werewolves who live together united in peace and harmony being led by their leaders, the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta.

Mind link - its a telepathic phenomenon in which werewolves of the same pack communicate with one another.

These are the basic werewolf terms one needs to know, I flipped the second page, 'Guide to being a good Alpha' I think I'm going to use the whole day studying, I need to know all these, I have limited time.

Chapter 1

Rule one - never show fear.

Rule two - always protect your pack members, they are your top priority......

I kept reading, soon I was done with the first chapter and went to the second chapter.

Chapter 2

An Alpha must be skilled in training, must be able to fight in both werewolf and human form, must be strict but kind to his pack members, must always communicate with his pack members, must maintain good relationship with neighbouring packs and must have allies.......

I kept reading, I've always loved reading so reading this whole book will be no problem. All these is very interesting to me, I read carefully and swiftly, accumulating everything I read.

Chapter 5

Fighting tips:

Watch your opponent, study them, look for an opening if they seem tough and strike.

I'll really need this.

Weak points, head, neck, rib.

I doubt any werewolf will easily allow me to kick or punch their head.

Fighting techniques....

I thank mom and dad for this book, I'm learning a lot that I can use while I'm training, I saw the technique I used on Timber among one of the techniques, I'll still need to come back to this chapter.

Chapter 10

Behavioral tips:

Always walk with your head held high, be brave, trash your enemies, don't wage war unnecessarily or over meaningless things, train your members to be strong and skilled.....

Chapter 15

Always analyse all situations, think carefully before acting or making any decision, don't be too trusting, always maintain composure and be calm.......

Hmmm, okay.....I kept reading.

Chapter thirty.

Be cautious, never be greedy for power, carry your self like a true Alpha, be contented with what you have—

My reading got interrupted by a knock on my door, I closed the book and kept it back inside the box, I closed it and put it under my bed quickly.

"Come in." I said and the person entered, Alpha Titus.

"I hope I'm not intruding or bothering you with my presence." He said as he walked further into the room.

"Not at all, do you need something?" I asked him as I got up from my bed.

"No, wanted to personally inform you that training starts 7:00 am and dinner is ready." He said fixing his gaze on me.

"Thank you, I'll be right down." I told him and he left my room without another word, I followed suit and saw everyone seated on the dining table, I spotted a seat next to Timber and took it.

"Hey man, what took you so long?" He asked with a mouthful of food, I looked at the dining table, it has chicken, salad, fried rice, beef and juice on it.

"Was just resting a bit." I said as I grabbed a plate and fetched some food for myself.

"You finally decided to join us." Del eyed me down, she really needs an attitude check.

"Yeah." I simply said.

"This food was delicious." Celeste said with her mouthful, thanks to this impeccable hearing if not I wouldn't have heard a single thing she said, every werewolf's powers according to my book are, impeccable hearing, heightened senses and really good eye sight and every werewolf' almost never get cold because of our body heat.

I spotted Meadow talking animatedly to a girl around her age who can't seem to stop laughing, while Oscar and his new found friend who also seemed around his age were playing with their food and chuckling. I spotted my mate, who looks frightened, she has bruises on her face and arm, she looks petrified, and is eating a little quantity of food really slowly, I can see her shaking, my heart sank at the sight of her, she doesn't deserve all that happened to her, I wished I could take away all her pain the pain of all the horrible things she's been through.

Del saw me staring at her and let out a deep sigh before focusing on a blonde girl, and a brunette, Celeste just kept eating her food ignoring everything else.

I saw Del whisper something to her brunette friend, a look of pity flashed through her eyes and she nodded, both Del and her brunette friend swap seats and Del looked at my mate concerned as she is now seating next to her, my fragile and innocent mate had her left hand on the table and was slowly eating with her right. Del slowly placed her hand on top of my mates' hand and she flinched removing her hand from the table, it was as though Del's hand had fire on it ir burnt her, my poor mate left the dining running, I saw some people staring at her with looks of pity.

I finished my food quickly and rushed after her, I got to the floor where her room was and decided whether to knock on her door or not as I was standing foolishly outside her room. I wore my big boy pants and knock on her door, she didn't answer, I knocked again this time louder, after a few seconds she opened the door, I looked at her small frame, her head was hanging low, she slowly raised her head and as soon as her brown eyes made contact with mine her eyes widen in shock and fear and instantly she moved back and slammed the door in my face locking it.

"I don't think she likes us very much." Scar said with a whimper.

"What made you think that? Is it the fact that our very sight frightens her or because she slammed the door in our face?" I asked and he responded with a pout.

"Ouch!" I heard a familiar voice say, I turned to see who it was and was faced with the annoying face of Del.

"What?" I snapped annoyed.

"Don't snap at me! I wasn't the one who asked her to slam the door in your face." She snickered.

"You saw that?" I asked feeling embarrassed and scratched the back of my face.

"Yeah I did, my new friends and I are having a sleep over so I was thinking of inviting your mate over." She said biting her lip.

"Okay sure, maybe that'll bring her out of her shell." I said with a smile and moved out of the way. Del walked to the door standing next to me and knocked on the door, she knocked once, twice, thrice before my mate opened the door.
