Ghost's regret

Chapter one. Ghost pov This is Ghost. The son to the " Roman empire". Their companies echoes in the streets of America. He is the only son of his father, married to a poor soul whom he cherished so much, June. They had lived together for almost a year now but got the greatest shock of his life. He received an envelope from an unknown source this afternoon. A beep sounded, revealing his secretary into his office. " Sir, there is a message for you". His secretary said, handing the envelope to him. " Where is it from?" His commanding voice echoed as he concentrated on his work. " Not revealed sir". " Drop the file and take your leave". In a Jeffy,his hands was toring the envelope, wandering what could be inside. That could be the deal he had with Jumia enterprises,he reasoned. He peeped inside and saw a tape. Huh? A tape? He wandered as his eagerness to quench his curiosity increased. He stood up and dived to his laptop, opened and slotted the tape. The first sound he heard was a melodious,calm song with a dark screen.What's all about? He asked to know one in particular as he was almost out of patience. He had to fast forward a little bit to know what the tape was all about. He stood transfixed. His body blocked,his leg wobbled cos right now,it couldn't carry his body. His head began to ache immediately so bad that he tried reaping off his head but it couldn't. He thought he was dreaming but it pounced on him so hard when he heard the voice of his wife moaning to the rhythm of the s*x. He stood frozen as the world turned a million times around him. He turned to the window, gnashing his teeth. He felt weak,he felt one could call again and tell him that was a lie. Hot teras strolled down his cheeks like a baby. His body had begin to get so hot. " Ahhhh!!!" He thundered shattering the flower vest on his table. Sweat was already oozing out of his body admits the air condition. He had the door knob been twisted but cared not to look at who was coming in. He had presumed that must be Drek,his childhood friend. " Dude, you called me. What's going on man?" He kept quiet.His mouth was so tight that he had to only point to him to that tape so he could slot in. " Hei,by the way,you are messed up. What's going on? You have never been this way. What's in the tape?' Drek asked as he sat on the couch. " Open the freaking tape and don't ask me questions!!!". He blastered. Drek picked the tape reluctantly and inserted in the laptop. " What ? What's the f*****g this!!!? So disgusting!!! ". Drek said closing the laptop almost immediately. " Yeah,so really disgusting". He wrily said ,his eyes all turned red. " Am sorry Ghost. There is something that is not right here. I never said she didn't cheat on you but please you have to take things slowly,man". " f**k you!!!! You are defending her?" He screamed as he turned around, facing him with hurt eyes. " Ghost,I know June,he can't do something like that. I know she is pretty but not dirty herself. Common dude. Don't think low of your wife that way. You know her before now. " " No wonder!!! " He said, ignoring his friend, saying those words with hurt tone and facing the window."No wonder,I saw her with Johnson the other day. I never knew she was cheating on me with my business rival. I never knew she was stabbing me at my back. I thought she said she loved me. I never knew she was all fake!!!" He broke with a crack voice. " You never can be sure . Can't you trust your wife again?" His friend asked surprisingly. " I said it. You can never be on my side!!!" " Common. You know,I can never be on your side especially when it has to do with your wife. Besides,I never think she did that and....." He tried defending but got the shockest blow on head making him to scream. " What's that for Ghost?!!!" Drek said holding his chin. " Get the hell out of my office!!" He roared. His friend stood , looking at him,with his hands in his chin. " You know what,suit yourself!! Am out of here . When you are done,you quickly lock this door!!!!". He said as he dashed out of the office. Ghost,with every venom,pounced out the office . He opened the door revealing his securities all standing , waiting for him. He cared less cos that was the least of the problem " Where to Sir"? "Can I help you sir". These words kept on coming from his men but there was no response. He left everyone in the dark. His men followed suit as they presumed he was heading to the car. Convoys were following him but he was not in the mood for that. " Can't you drive this car fast or do you want to be sacked!!!" He blowed out with fury in his eyes. " Am sorry sir,we will be there in the next five minutes. Five minutes later. He quickly couldn't let his men open the car as he brushed passed every of them to his abode. June pov She was seen all dressed up,ready to go out but heard the sound of the car. "Lol,that must be my husband". She said to herself, smiling as she stopped to welcome the love of her life . Her hope all high up every time she sees him. She had loved him so much that she can't breathe without hearing his name. She stood all warmed up but got the biggest shock of his life when he barged inside with hot red eyes. She dropped her bag immediately to go and console him or something but he signalled her to stop any further movement. Fear gripped her immediately. She had never seen her husband behave this way towards her for the first time. His piercing eyes into her as he stood watching her almost sent her to the ground. She trembled on what was the problem. Her heart jolted out of her heart a million time. The silence was almost eating her up. She couldn't contain that anymore. " Ok can you tell me what is it? Am confused here." She said with a cracked voice unsure what the next moment will be like. " You are asking me what the problem is ,you this w***e!!!!" He thundered sending a shiver down her spine, making her to close her ears. She heard him sounding those words. At a moment,she didn't feel like she heard correctly. Maybe, that was an expensive joke ,she thought. " What did you just say?" She asked,her words coming out of her mouth dictatively. " You heard me you this cheap prostitute!!!!" He thundered again making her to close her ears the more. Not because of the echo but he called her names no one has ever did and which she detest to hear in her entire life. Tears tried rushing out but she tried holding that. " What did you just call me?" She asked hoping it was a mistake. " You heard me!! You are prostitute and a cheap one at that. Can't you hear. Or have you gone deaf you......." He tried saying but she can't bear that anymore. " Ghost!! Where is this coming from!!" She called him by his name for the first time. " You know what,you know that you are very disgusting right now. I hate to see the sight of you. I hate to see you cos you are the last person I would want to see." He said throwing the envelope to her. " Take a look at this and when you are done, I don't want to see you in this house,not even a sight of you June". He cracked up looking so horrible at her. " I said ,take the tape and look at it or have you gone some knots!!!" He kept bashi ng at her. She felt weak as tears dropped freely on her chicks.
