We stood in silence on top of the roof, the only sounds being the growling of the Grimm in the cars beneath us and the freezing wind as it flew past us. Whistleblower’s eyes glowed brightly in the darkening sky and I heard Kisten whine with pain. I looked at him as he shifted back to being human, the process clearly painful and forced. I growled as I looked back at Whistleblower, understanding that it was his gaze that was forcing Kisten to shift, and I fired my gun to distract him.
