It has been three days! Three days since the accident.
Three days had passed since the attack, since Adrian had thrown himself over me, protecting me at the cost of his own safety.
Three days of uncertainty, of waiting for him to wake up, of pretending I wasn’t terrified every second that he wouldn’t.
