chapter two

255 Words
I found myself in a wooden crate full of junk. This junk was broken stuff from the park, stuff that I blend into really well. These were disfigured and broken plates, silverware, even other machinery that had my image plastered all over them. I had never realized what kind of an idol I had become, but this made my escape possible as I just lay in the crate full of broken- well me. My leg was still hurting and getting everything covered in my blue colored blood. But that wasn't that big of an issue because everything was covered in oil and soda and an assortment of other fluids that people had dumped in with their garbage. It was hard not to move while I was tossed about in the crate. The smells of the mixed and expiring fluids made me kind of nauseous. Though, my organs literally being outside of my body might be contributing to that. Eventually I heard a splash as the crate landed in water. It must have been air tight as it floated. Nothing new got into it but I could hear outside the sounds of boats and feel the swishing movements of the waves as they hit against the sides of the crate. Seemingly out of nowhere, the crate seemed to be lifted up and was put onto the solid surface of a ship's deck. And that's when it was opened and I could see someone excitedly staring at me like I was actually something worth getting excited over.
