The Inauguration.

Today, Monday, saw both Stella and Armstrong being driven in one of the bullet proof cars, and were heading to the technology company. Just as he previously informed her and every one of his company's management staff some few days ago, about him bringing a new general manager in the company: today would fulfill his words.

Meanwhile, as they stepped their foot out of the car, they could see many of the company's workers and staff, being lined up, wearing suits. They were already informed before now by the assistant general manager in the person of Gideon, that they should prepare to receive one who would be the new general manager today. Thus, they all obeyed, and yielded to all the official announcements and instructions that had been passed across to them.

Stella strolled her eyes looking at everyone, and once again, saw Gideon, his wicked ex-husband. She shook hands slightly with some workers of the company, before they finally headed to the general hall, where the official inauguration would take place.

‘’Greetings everyone. I have always counted myself very lucky to be honored by you people. Each time I see you all, I am always happy. The truth is that without your loving cooperative spirits, I wouldn’t have been where I am today. Also, without my vision for this company, I don’t think that many of us would be here today. In essence, it is because we are all working together, in line with the supreme visions of this company, and that is why we are where we are today’’Armstrong said, pausing for a while, while stirring at his workers, from the podium where he was speaking to them.

Every one of them were surprised that he would be bringing and introducing a new general manager in the company. A good number of them were secretly murmuring and talking to themselves, as to why he decided to officially will the position of a general manager to another person. This is because ever since the official beginning of the technology company, he has been the one taking the office of a general manager. To them, the company was running smoothly even more than any one would have expected. Truly, the company was actually running smoothly. But one thing they never knew was the high rate of financial embezzlement by some officials, who are secretly perpetrating their evil intentions. Infact, Armstrong was not only displeased based on the high rate of financial embezzlement, but also, on the way his company’s information was stolen by other competitors, and the general public. However, before now, he has had several meetings with his high officials about all that he has been noticing, but no one was willing to correct any faults or even, to amend. It was based on all these, that he is currently doing what he is doing.

‘’Also, I won’t end it without acknowledging how I have been very committed, in the area of my promises to you all the workers of this company. I have been fulfilling my own role, as the sole founder of this company, and I have never defaulted in any way. For example, I keep increasing all your salaries and allowances every ten months that you work with us. I am doing all these, so that none of you would be weighed down, or discouraged from executing the good job that was assigned to you.

However, I have been noticing some funny moves of recently, in this company. I Am very sorry to inform you all, that I have seriously loosed trust on everyone. Each new week, I discovering that a good handful amount of money was stolen. Some times, I would discovered that the sum of $2million has been embezzled. Some times, we won’t even get the accurate amount of embezzled funds. We keep checking every departments of this company, so that we could balance all our records and transactions with the various heads of departments, but all to no avail’’Armstrong informed. He wasn’t actually happy talking about this publicly. But the truth is that he was left with no better option but to speak on them.

All the workers were patiently listening to his words. They were all shocked to hear that all these had been happening in the company. The fact is that they all trusted Armstrong. They knew that he would not lay false accusations on any one.They all respected his high level of maturity and dignity which he placed on all, irrespective of your position and financial prowess. Thus, they began to pick more interests in his words, after knowing that people would always take advantage of Armstrong’s sympathetic nature, to exploit him.

‘’However it may be, we would still push the stirring, just to see that we keep moving in line with our progressive visions. Meanwhile, I will be dropping my official roles and duties today, due to a project that I would be embarking on. I would keep my new wife here, as the general manager. Thus, she shall be the one to head this company, until my arrival, and anything she ordered you all to do, must never be disobeyed’’He said.

Furtherely, he stretched forth his hands, calling Stella to come forward. Some senior officials including the company’s attorney, were all there on the stage, to assist with the inauguration processes.

They wore a gown on Stella, which symbolized the new role she would be taking in the company, and finally handed over to her the constitution and powers of the company, which would enable her to officially function as the general manager. Everything that was given to her before all workers and staff of the company, were all symbolic.

‘’As from today, I will charge you with the position to serve in the highest office of this technology company, as the general manager. If this company should fall or remain strong and formidable, you will have the credit for it. Meanwhile, keep serving until my arrival’’Armstrong said, while inaugurating her.

Everyone clapped for her.

Stella on the other hand, looked into the crowd, and saw Gideon, smiling passionately, and clapping for her.

In response, she also smiled back at him, but pretentiously.
