Barrette's POV
Ashlynn and Emerson were sound asleep together in bed. I couldn't help but snap another picture of them together. I knew that Ashlynn was still not feeling very good, but I could see how happy she was. I felt that same happiness and I could sit here and just stare at the two of them together like this for the rest of my life. It didn't take me long to fall in love with Ashlynn, but it shocked me with the instant love that I felt with Emerson.
The door opened, and my dad walked in and Ashlynn woke up. "I'm so sorry, I will just leave these and go," he said as he saw her.
"Nonsense, you came to meet your granddaughter," she told him, and I could see how his face lit up.
