Ashlynn's POV
I was released from the hospital a day ago, and I can't tell you how great it is to be home. I am still so sore all over, but it's been getting better each day. Emerson has also found her set of lungs and loves to use them. It's been rough adjusting and learning to what she wants and needs, but we are slowly getting there. She eats a lot, and she doesn't care if I nurse her or if she gets a bottle, which makes it nice.
"Are you ready to give her a bath?" Barrette asked. He was so excited to give her a bath, and I wasn't sure why, although he has been excited about everything. He's taken care of every poopy diaper and gets up with her when she cries in the middle of the night and brings her to me and then takes her back to her bassinet. I'm guessing that will change when
