I walked off the car lot with my new keys in hand. I bought a new to me car because my old junker wasn't going to make the drive. I was moving back to my hometown. I wanted to be closer to my parents. I wanted to be able to go see them whenever I wanted. I wanted to know the town where I was supposed to grow up. The place my parents made their roots.
