Full Moon or Full Surprises Birthday? Part 3

*Ryan*

I stood over my mate desperately checking for any injuries.I was frightened that when I felt her distressed and anguished, I shifted and ran out of the most important elders' meeting of the year without giving a reason before racing to my mate's border. As I ran closer, I could feel her racing towards me too but she seemed to be disoriented about the way she was heading.

*Flashback*

'Her wolf is guilding her this way. She's not in the right state of mind right now',  Nick said sorely. 'So she's running from something?', I questioned him. 'Or someone', he growled as I did at that thought. How dare the person or people chase my mate! After running for a while i could feel my mate along with the border getting closer. 'Stop! Dude, Stop!', Nick screamed at me forcing my wolf to stop. Screeching halt saved me from falling over the edge of the hundred foot cliff. As I tried to catch my breath, my vision adjusted to see the pitch black landscape. 'Its still daylight why is it so dark down here? And is that rocks? Where's our border line?', I quickly asked my wolf. 'Look up', he responded. I did what he said to see another fifty foot of cliff above me. Just then a wolf barreled off the cliff without stopping. 'Mate!', was all Nick screamed. I ran backwards some yards away. I heard yells and screams echoes across the top of the cliffside but I just following my mate steadily falling towards the height of the ground which I stand. 'Please give my family and mate peace for the mistake I made. Tell them I'm with them moon goddess and mom's, she whispered in her mind link the pray. I couldn't lose her. Not now, not ever. I ran towards the cliff at full speed. Leaping off the ledge, I colluded with my mate in mid air knocking us to the other side of the cliff.

*End of the Flashback*

Confusion filled her face as she looked at me. 'I'm fine. Why are you here?', she minklinked me. 'Haha, well I-I felt you severely upset and came to see what happened?', I said embarrassed. She looked at me and smiled. 'Aw. Did the big bad alpha turn soft for a mate', she teased. 'I-I-I was just worried i-is all', I said flushed. I stopped talking listening in the distance approach of wolves.

*Rachel*

I love joking with him and he is so freaking cute when he blushes. Did I just call him cute? I heard my pack in the distance as well as my mate. 'We have to get you out of here', he says nudging me up. 'No', I said blankly. 'Why not?! I have to get you out of here so you can be safe. I know you'll be safe with us. Please come with me', he pleaded to me. 'Its my pack. They won't hurt me I swear. But i can't say the same for you', I said quietly knowing my pack is close. 'I'm not leaving without you', he growled. Suddenly, My father and brothers bursted through the bushes heading towards me. Ryan stepped in front of me not knowing it was my brothers and father running towards us. His big midnight wolf would out power them for sure. "Who are you?!", Timber snarled. "Who are you?", Ryan asked more calmly. "Your worse nightmare if you don't give her back, you b-", Beaver snarled deeper but was cut off by father. "Beaver, shut it now", he growled," I apologize for my sons reactions they are just severely protective of their little sister", he said calmly. Ryan eyed each of my brothers carefully and responded," They should use their words carefully otherwise I'd kill for disrespect if it wasn't for the female behind me". "Of course. They will learn to hold their tongues for sure", my father said eyeing my brothers. "Sis, are you ok", Timber said looking around Ryan trying to see me. Keyword trying. Ryan immediately blocked his view. "Did you ask me to see her", Ryan snapped. Oh no.
