The Wedding
Gia's POV
"Ma, you won't want your groom to wait forever you know." Xiara, my daughter told me while she's holding my hands facing the big door in front of us..
This is it! Finally. I'd finally marry the guy that I want to spend the rest of my life.
The door finally opens up, and I see the guy that I've been waiting for, waiting for me in the altar. I have mixed emotions, but mostly what I feel is pure happiness, that after all what we've been through, here we are still ended up together.
I couldn't contain my happiness and shed tears of joy. My daughter notices and said "Ma, you don't want to look ugly once you're infront of him don't you?"
She's walking me down the aisle. I hated the slow pace. I've waited long enough for this moment, and couldn't wait any longer. But I can't even go faster because of my age.
While walking, all the things we'd been through flashed back into my mind... It's so fresh.. It still feels like it was only yesterday.. We've been through hell and back.. But I don't regret anything on what happened to us. Because as far as I am concerned, here he is now, and we will be spending the rest of our lives together.
