The ride to Amy’s apartment is quiet. She is not saying much and it kills me to have to tell her that we will be ending this, not that there was anything to start off with. We stop outside her apartment and she invites me inside. At first, I want to decline, but she smiles, “You and I both know that we need to talk and it might take a while.
