A HOPE
Liya's P.O.V
'Hope'? She hoped we could meet tomorrow and I hoped that dad would love to see my performance in class. I reached home and the servant opened the door, I ignored her and ran to dad's room. Oh s**t!!! I forgot he might be in his office, I went to my room and sat down then remembered that last year Robet and Jim tore my result card.
So I decided to take a photo copy of my card, I stood up and went to dad's study room. Where I could go to get stationary or something else I need. I took two photo copies and went to my room. I kept one photo copy on the table and laid down on my bed then slept.....
I woke up and saw the time, it was 9:00 p.m. then I saw at the table, my result was torn exactly as I thought. I took another copy and went to dad's room. Before I enter his room dad and my brothers were laughing and enjoying, I knocked the door and went in, I gave him my result paper. Robet looked shocked as hell! I wished to laugh at him but I knew I can't. The room filled with silence for two minutes, then dad said "good! But it's not enough keep practicing." He said without any expressions on his face. Then I said him "dad our school is taking us to the camp for five days....Can I go with them!"
Robet laughed devilishly and said "are you crazy! You want to go to the camp? I am damn sure dad won't allow you to go to any camp!" I was about to cry but then dad said "silence Robet! I am the head, I will decide what to do with whom.... So Liya you scored first in class. And neither of your brothers did so, in their life time and that's the reason I will allow you to go." I got happy, it's the first time in my life when dad gave me a chance to enjoy myself.

I woke up with a wide smile on my face, I don't know why but I felt this day is gonna be fantastic! I took a bath, wore my dress, combed my hair and reached school before time.
When I entered the class there were hardly six students, I went and sat beside Lucy... Slowly the other students joined us in the class but my eyes caught two boys who just entered. The one in black t-shirt was handsome as hell. s**t-s**t-s**t he is seeing me, I just turned around to have some talk with Lucy so that he won't think I was staring him. I then said Lucy "Are those two boys our classmate? I never see them.." She chuckled and said "of course they are and how would you know that, you book worm" I punched her arm feeling embarrassed. Then she asked me trying to be serious "tell me which one do you like?" How did she read my face, I gave her a smirk and said "no one" trying not to have any eye contact with her.
But would she be quiet, she forced me to say and I did, after all I trust her. Then she stood up and walked slowly to the boys. What the hell is she trying to do? She had a talk with them for few minutes that I couldn't hear. Then she returned to the seat, she didn't say anything as we both knew the boys were watching us like they had an eye on us...... In lunch when everyone left the class, I was leaving too but Lucy stopped me "I have something to say you?" I nodded and gave her permission to speak which was of no use because she won't leave me without completing what she wanted to say. She continued then "the one you like is Joe Smith and the other one is Matt Brown....And guess what? They both are single!". I gave her a hug in excitement and left for canteen.
The whole day I was staring him, He looked so awesome.....But am I falling for him? I can't do it, I am damn sure dad won't allow me to even see his face even if he gets to know about this. "You know your surprise is ready!" I heard Lucy's voice, I turned back and said "then give me my SURPRISE!" I said giving more force to the word 'surprise' she replied giving a smile "but you won't get it now!"....However the day passed and I loved it, I also said Lucy that I am coming with them to the camp, she hopped then hugged me tight. Actually I said her that my father is serious about my health so he won't allow me to attend the camp. Which was the biggest lie I said in my life. But I said it because I don't want to say her the t*****e I have in my life.
While I was walking towards the car I had an encounter with Joe. I just gave him a small smile so he don't feel that I am awkward or a zombie. He too gave me a smile in return then said "hey! I am your classmate your friend and I had a small conversation today!" I made an 'o' with my mouth and said "I saw you both having conversation...Myself Liya Bence." I said and forwarded my hand for doing handshake.. He saw my hand for few seconds and when I felt insulted and I was about to take my hand back he shake hand with me. I said him bye and left after he said "hope we meet tomorrow!" O-MY-GOD!! How could I be a dumb, but I don't think it was bad to shake hands with him.I sat in the car and thought about him the whole time, I loved the way he smiled!!!!
