The day of Elite party

Jennifer opened the door of the Maserati, struggling with her dress. A hand held out towards her. She ignored it and climbed out herself.
" Miss. Kim, isn't it rude to ignore your partner's hand?" Ezra said putting his hands in his pocket, smirking.
" Doesn't matter to me." she said with her cat eyes, carefully walking ahead.
" It does matter me to me though."
" We aren't even inside the party yet. Why should we hold hands?" she raised her brows.
Ezra was still smirking, looking at her struggling to walk on the marbled floor," For practice. Before the party."
" Aren't we used to faking? What even is practice?" she walked towards the huge door.
" Well, you're right." he followed her.
Entering the huge door opened by the guards, was a luxurious room with hundreds of chandeliers hanging from the high ceilings. People in elegant dresses and suits talked among themselves. It was almost like a royal party. But when it came to these people, royalty was just as equal.
Ezra indicated Jennifer to link their arms. Jennifer accepted this time and linked her arms with him.They both smiled as they walked through people greeting them.
" Looks like people like us." he said smirking, nodding to people he knew.
" Well this is Jennifer kim they are talking about." she said through her smile.
" I think you mean Ezra Park?"
" That was a good joke." she said sarcastically.
" Im glad that you liked it."
In the bar at the far end, Jennifer saw Julia with Gerald Kim. They two were chuckling among themselves.
" Why didn't I know about it??" she said to herself.
" What?"
" Come with me." she pulled Ezra, making him shocked.
" Juliee, when did you come?"
Julia turned to her with a smile, " We just arrived now."
" Ohhh." jennifer said while eyeing Gerald.
" A-ahh This is Gerald Kim." she said to Jennifer, " And this is Jennifer." she said to Gerald. Introducing each other before it got awkward.
" Ahemm." Ezra coughed.
" And he's....Ezra Park."
Gerald shook his hands. So, this was the guy with Julia now? And really was the cousin of the Jeons.
" So, according to what i heard, you two are best friends right?" Gerald said looking at the two.
" Yes, we were best friends since childhood." Julia said.
" Yepp, bffs." jennifer said hugging her waist. Both smiling widely.
" What about your other two bffs?" ezra butted.
Jennifer stopped smiling and glared at him, " They are on their way. Mind if you ignore our matters?"
Ezra shrugged and Gerald gave an uncomfortable smile.
Meanwhile, Liliane and Brent had arrived at the party.
" Don't touch me." Liliane took her hands away from him, heading towards the bar.
" Like hell would I." he rolled his eyes following her.
" Oh look who we have here." Jennifer smirked after finding Liliane at the next bar. " Lilieeeee." she shouted.
Liliane got startled but found her friend after looking across the bar. She waved happily and rushed towards them. Brent hurriedly came after her, shaking his head.
" Yah, when did you arrive?" she asked them, relieved to find her friends.
" Wayy earlier than you." Julia said.
" Oh hi there. Gerald Kim right?" Liliane asked looking at the taller guy.
" Yes and....Liliane Han?" he looked back at Liliane.
" Just call me Lilie." she waved him off, " Oh...and Ezra Park?" she hadnt expected him to be here too.
" Yes thats me." he replied cockily.
" Also, Brent nice to meet you after so long." Julia said with a fake smile.
" We just met a year ago in this same exact party." Brent said rolling his eyes. Liliane pinched his arms real hard. " OwWWw."
" Keep quiet." she threatened him. He just rubbed his arms, cursing under his breath.
Gerald looked at them confused. " Ahh just ignore them, haha." Julia tried to change the atmosphere. He laughed awkwardly and nodded.
" When is Roseanne coming though?" Jennifer asked looking at the entrance.
" She is coming with Charles Kim." Julia said.
Ezra raised his brows looking at Julia.
" Expected of that." jennifer sipped her drink.
" Oh, they've improved huh." Liliane said looking at the entrance too.

Jay and Harley had arrived at the party. With no partners. They headed straight to the bar at the corner. Just at the moment, Harley noticed Julia and her friends. And also the guy. She was smiling at him and so was he.
" Tch, i hate this party already." he said glaring at them.
Jay followed his glares and saw them, " So, Ezra was actually with Jennifer? Hah."
Ezra saw them and gave jay a smirk. He ignored him and turned to Harley.
" Jay, isn't that guy your bro's friend or something."
" No, he's Norman's cousin brother. He's name is Gerald Kim."
" Oh." Harley took another sip.
Jay searched for Roseanne but it seemed she hadn't arrived since all her friends were gathered there.
Right at the moment, Roseanne entered but with another man linking arms. He took a closer look. Charles Kim? All the people's attention now were on them. They were greeting people coming their way. His eyes were fixed on them. It was quite unexpecting for him.
Roseanne didn't like the attention. She was feeling rather uncomfortable but still gave a smile to anyone who greeted them. Suddenly, she saw Jay at the bar. He was staring at her, like as if angry or upset or disappointed? She couldn't understand. She gave him a light smile but he didn't react. Instead, kept on staring at her. What is wrong with him? She scrunched her eyebrows.
" Roseanne, Roseanne??"
" A-ahhh yes. Im sorry what did you say?"
" I said we can rest if you're feeling uncomfortable." Charles said looking at her.
" No, I'm fine. Let's go meet Mr.Choi. He's just across the table." she said pulling him.

" Hah, so it was Charles Kim?" Jay said to himself. Why that guy of all people?? He had heard the guy was petty and proud. Also, his blonde hair stood out too much, Jay didnt like it at all.
" what?" Harley asked confused but followed his eyes where he was looking at, " Roseanne? Its her right? Wahh, they really look like a power couple." He said tilting his head.
Jay quickly gave him a glare.
" What?" Harley got shocked there at the moment.

" Look at them." Jennifer said folding her arms. The girls looked at them while the two awkwardly greeted other guests.
" Seems like she forgot us." Julia replied her eyes following the two.
Ezra gave a confused stare," I thought Roseanne would reject him."
" I'm sorry but why??" Jennifer asked, snapping her head.
" Oops, i was meant to say it on my head. My bad." Ezra replied ignoring their looks.
" She really is lucky." Liliane sighed sipping her drink.
Brent and Julia faced her at the same time.
" And I really am unlucky." Brent fake pouted.
"Fvck You." she said annoyed.
Julia just sighed. She looked to the next bar and saw Harley drinking while talking to Jay. She stared at him for a while but quickly turned her head when he moved.

Roseanne and Charles had talked to few guests. She felt as if someone kept staring at her. She looked at Jay's direction. Yes, he was still staring. She turned to the guest and gave a smile then again glanced towards Jay.
She mouthed WHAT while her hands did the 'what' gesture. He just shook his head.
" Roseanne, who are you talking to?" Charles looked at her weirdly.
" Oh, umm. My friend."
" Where?" He turned to look at the crowd.
" There." she pointed at Jay.
He spotted the guy she was pointing to and was quite confused by the guy's looks. He knew it the Jeon's heir but he didn't look happy. Probably because his face was naturally like that? Charles didn't know the reason but he also gave him the same kind of look.
