Day two at Cade’s office was a repeat of day one. Karli and Cade argued about Raina and Damon and talked in circles. Nothing had changed, except on day two, all Karli could think about was how little she knew about what was going on.
“What exactly did Damon Street do?” Karli asked once they ordered lunch.
