Ophelia P.O.V When I looked up all I saw was my brother smirking at me in the mirror. Nothing was wrong, Carson was just trying to get the attention of his friend and just so happened to scare me at the same time. And judging by the look on his face he was beyond happy with the results.     "What the hell Carson! Who was so important that you had to scare me in the process of trying to get their attention!" I squeaked out. It was supposed to be a more aggressive tone, but unfortunately I found the situation a bit funny and couldn't be serious long enough to pull it off.     "You know Quinn and his bromance is more important than anything" Carter responded with a chuckle.      "Hell yeah it is!" Carson responded as he hopped out of the jeep and ran towards Quinn. I don't know much about Quinn except that he is our current Beta's second son. Since Carson was born first he would eventually take our fathers place as Alpha, and more than likely Carter would wind up as his beta. This means that Carson would probably wind up "demoting" Quinn from a beta to a gamma. Rank was everything in a pack, obviously the Alpha was the most important along with his mate (our Luna). Next came our Beta (our second in command, he is in charge of our warriors), then comes the Gamma's (third in command, he was in charge of all pack members and keeping it functioning), and lastly the Omega's (they are the regular members of the pack). Although Omega's hold no rank, they are still appreciated and often get paid to work for companies owned by the pack.    "O, let's go we're going to be late if you keep sitting there daydreaming or whatever it is that you're doing." Carter said to me while he was opening my door for me.    "Thanks for opening my door Car, but you know you don't have to do it everyday right?" I said with a smile.    "I know, but I enjoy helping my lil sis out you know that." He replied. We left the conversation at that and parted ways. Luckily, I've perfected my route to class to make sure I take the fastest way because I made it to class with 2 minutes to spare.    "Lia! Why are you so late today! I was looking for you all morning!" I heard my best friend Spencer say half-angry half-excitedly. Spencer has beautiful golden brown skin and the most unique eyes on the planet, they're half golden and half green. She's also super tall (at least in my eyes) but in reality she's probably around 5'7. She has medium long hair that's currently brown with blonde tips. I say currently because I swear she dyes her hair a new color every month. It's a wonder that she has any left.    "Im sorry babes! I had to get Carter up this morning and that was such a pain. Anyways, you look so good this morning, what made you get all dressed up?" I said, commenting on her light blue distressed jeans and her floral off the shoulder top.     "Oh you know...I love dressing up for school! Just kidding, all my sweats are in the wash and I didn't have anything else to wear." she laughed.    "I knew something was up, you never dress up for school... I believe your exact words were 'if they don't like me in my sweats then they don't need me at my best'." I joked back.     "You're dang right they don't" I heard from behind us.  I turned around to see who the voice belonged to since usually nobody ever sat behind us. When I turned my head I was greeted with the most stunning piercing blue eyes I had ever seen. They were like the waters of the Caribbean oceans and just as entrapping too. I realized that I had probably been staring for too long at this point and forced myself to look at his whole face.  This boy was definitely a god or a model, maybe both I'm not sure. He had brown curly hair and an olive skin tone. Although he was covered, I could tell he was totally ripped just by the way his t-shirt clung to his muscles. As I took a quick glance down his body I think I saw a tattoo peeking out under his shirt right by his waist. Although I could've been imagining things.    "H-hi I'm Ophelia, are you new here? I don't think I've ever seen you before." I managed to force out of my mouth. Gosh I probably looked like a total fool sitting here drooling over him.  Before he could respond Spencer made sure to introduce herself, "Hi! I'm Spencer, welcome to Rockwood High, we don't usually get transfers...are you from another pack?" she quickly questioned. He looked clearly overwhelmed by all of these questions so I got the nerve up to try and calm him down before he got too uncomfortable. For some reason I had this strange urge just to go give him a hug but I figured that probably wouldn't go too well.     "I'm sorry about her! We just aren't used to any new people showing up. I'm the alpha's daughter, it's a pleasure to meet you." I said with a hopefully reassuring smile.   Unknown P.O.V.   Holy shit...there she is! Get her, get her!  my wolf Ian howled in my head.    Suddenly my nose was overwhelmed with the scent of apple cider, like the drink but 1000x more enticing. I lightly sniffed the air not trying to make it too obvious what I was doing. The smell led me to a classroom, luckily the same classroom I needed to be in.  As I walked into the room the scent got stronger than ever. I looked around for just a moment and then I saw her. She was fully engaged in a conversation with someone I presumed to be her friend.  "I knew something was up, you never dress up for school... I believe your exact words were 'if they don't like me in my sweats then they don't need me at my best'." I heard her friend say. This is your time to jump in! Go!   I realized Ian was right and said the first thing that came out of my mouth. "You're dang right they don't." I said proudly.  I could tell that they were genuinely confused the minute I said it. I hope I didn't scare her away, I'm not sure that I could live with myself if I scared my honey away. She's my mate, I just know it. "H-hi I'm Ophelia, are you new here? I don't think I've ever seen you before." She said, clearly stumbling over her words. God her voice was more angelic than anything I had ever heard before.  I kept replaying her words over in my head. Ophelia..what a unique name. I wonder if there's a story behind it. I heard them trying to have a conversation with me but all I could think about is how I couldn't wait for her to be my packs Luna. I wanted to pick her up and kiss her right then and there but I knew this wasn't the place for that.  Don't just sit here man. SAY something to her! Ask her out! Oh yea? How do you suggest I do that Ian? We don't want to creep her out. She's clearly not of age yet.  Butttttt judging by the way she was staring at you earlier she clearly feels it too. Alright Alright, I'll do it just be quiet please. Ian hummed in response and went quiet, silently watching from the background. I guess I should be more understanding, I mean she is technically his mate too.   "I'm sorry about her! We just aren't used to any new people showing up. I'm the alpha's daughter, it's a pleasure to meet you." She said just as I was about to say something.  I guess she had thought I was uncomfortable judging by her apologizing, but I hope she would soon realize that she doesn't ever need to apologize for being curious. Before I could respond the teacher cut me off with the clearing of her throat. I guess this conversation would just have to wait. I heard Ian let out a quiet growl in my head. He also wasn't amused with the teachers timing.  I spent most of class glancing at her. She was just so mesmerizing and I didn't even get the chance to introduce myself. The way she moved was so delicate it was like as if she had made one wrong move her whole world would crash down on her. There had to be more to her story and I was just dying to learn more about her. The rest of class went by quickly and soon the teacher was informing us that we had about 15 minutes to chat freely before we were dismissed. I decided to take this opportunity to go slide into the seat next to Ophelia which was now empty since her friend had been called out in the middle of class.    "Ophelia..that's very unique, I like it! I'm Myles." I said quickly. Ophelia let out a breath that I don't think she even knew that she was holding. Then let out the brightest and biggest smile possible.     "Thank you! Honestly, I was worried that we had made you uncomfortable with all those questions. It's nice to meet you." she responded.     "No, not at all. I uhm honestly just couldn't take my eyes off of you... you're stunning. Would you maybe want to hang out sometime?" I mumbled.  Part of me hoped she hadn't heard me but her eyes shot up to look at me and I knew she had.     "Of course! I can introduce you to my brothers too and they could probably help you make some new friends!" She beamed. Her brothers huh...one of them was going to be the next alpha of their pack, this could be important in making a future alliance. I made a mental note of this and continued back to our conversation.    "Great, what about this Saturday? I could come over to the pack house if you'd like and we could watch some movies. I'll bring snacks" I said with a wink. I mean, after all, who can resist some good snacks?     "Make it this Thursday and you've got a date...uh I mean not like a date more like you know the literal date because it would be weird if I suggested it was a date without asking you and...yea I'm just going to stop..you know what I mean.." she blushed.  Wow that was adorable, I love seeing her get all flustered around me. Just wait till I get her naked for the first time. I'll give her something to really blush about then.  I smirked to myself then carried on with small talk until it was time to leave.  Luckily for me Thursday was just three days away. Although, on the other hand, that only gave me three days to figure out how to tell her who I am and where I'm from. I'm not sure she'll understand why I'm here once I tell her...maybe I'll just hold off until she's more comfortable with me.
