Enemies to lovers

Chapter 3

It's been a week that school started, we already have lots to do. It's a Sunday, and I'm suppose to be sleeping, but Sarah keeps writing to me, something about this guy she met at a party, she's been texting for about an hour, and I'm not really listening, but then I get another message, it's from Jacob, oh my god, oh my god!

-Sarah, Jake just sent me a message, I'll tell you about it tomorrow. XOXO

I ignore the rest of her messages, and go to Jake's.

-Hey Katherine, what's up?

OK, Kathy, take a deep breath, and calm down.

-Hi! I'm good, what about you?

I wait for his answer, it takes a couple of minutes, which feel like hours. My stomach is full of butterflies, I might puke.

-I'm alright.

That's it. I don't want to stop talking, so I reply with a question.

-How did you even get my number?

-I actually asked Sarah.

-Ok, but why did you want it then.

-Well after seeing you the first day of school, I couldn't stop thinking of you. And I was hoping, that we could do something together.

I'm going to faint! I can't believe it! Jacob Sevles asked me out! The boy that I've had a crush on for years!!

-Um, sure it could be nice.

-Should we meet up at the café next to your place, tomorrow after school?

-Sounds perfect, see you then!

I put my phone to charge, and try to fall asleep but I just can't. I'm so happy, I'm too hyper to fall asleep. After what feels like ages I manage though. The next day I wake up with the biggest smile on my face, and get ready so fast. I put on my best outfit ; A red dress that when I turn, makes a nice effect, it has a bow around my waste. I wear some black ballerinas and a yellow bow to tigh my hair. Sarah is also pretty early, she must be as exited as me.

" So? What happened? You sent that message and I couldn't stop thinking about it since."

" Yeah, well basically Jake wrote to me asking how I am and everything, and I did the same. And after a while he said that he couldn't stop thinking of me, and wanted to hang out."

"Oh my god! What did you say? Please tell me you said yes! Because you're capable of saying no, seeing how shy you are."

" Of course I said yes! I'm meeting him today, after school." We both smile at each other, hold each others hands really tight and jump up and down screaming! She's definitely as exited as me.

" Finally Kathy! You must be so happy."

" Yes I am, thanks for giving my number to him by the way."

"Your number? I didn't give it to him, he didn't even ask."

" Oh, well he said he asked you, and you gave it to him. Anyway, I don't care because I'm going out with him anyway."

We get to school and all my classes take forever to finish. But then the final bell rings and I rush to the café, and there he is, waiting at a table.
