1. The Accident
♔ ♕ ♔ ♕ ♔ "We are here Princess" The middle aged man sitting behind the steering wheel of the black Mercedes Benz said putting the car to a stop. "Thank you Donald" The Princess replied smiling lovingly at the man as she got out of the car. She walked gracefully into the book store only to be greeted by the plump lady with ebony colored hair that she was quite acquainted to. "Oh Leah, no need for all the curtsey" the princess urged as she sat on the love seat in the book shop. "Have anything for me?" She asked Leah as her eyes strolled about, looking for a particular series. "Always, your grace" Leah said and brought out the books she had specially kept for the princess. "Oh, Leah, you make me so happy" the princess said, hugging Leah as she looked at the books on the table beside her, where Leah had dropped them. ADVENTURES OF HUGH ANDERSON The title of the books read, just the thought of reading about the fabulous and mighty Hugh Anderson had the princess smiling like a little girl who just got candy. "I hope you come back-" Leah was cut off by the sound of a phone, ringing. "Sorry, I have to take this" The princess excused herself. "Mother!" She said cheerily "Where in God's name are you Racheal?" The queen asked, sounding impatient. "I'm at the book shop mother, I'll be home soon" Racheal replied, rolling her eyes as she talked. "But we talked about this and you know how I feel about you being late to these sort of things" the queen reminded. "Right. I'm on my way mother and I won't be late, I'm sure the people aren't awake yet talk less of being at the palace right now. Anyway, I'll be home soon" she said and hung up before the queen could respond. "Thanks for the books Leah, I have to go now, there are things I have to attend to in the palace" she told as she found her way out of the small homey bookshop. "Thanks" Donald said to Leah as he collected the books from her. "Are we still going to the park?" Donald asked the princess, who looked like she was on another world of her own already. "Mom needs me at home, we'll go home" she commanded politely and the middle aged man drove away from the book shop. "Uhm princess? There's a slight problem" Donald said, bringing the princess out of her day dream. When she was back to reality, she realized that the car had stopped and she wasn't in the palace yet. What could be the problem? She thought as she sat upright. "What is it Donald?" "The car parked ahead of us was trying to overtake me and I didn't see him coming so I grazed his car" Donald explained. "Okay Donald, go and see if it's something bad" she told him and the man got out of the car. She sat in the car for over five minutes and by the looks of it, the man driving the other car was taking the matter very serious because his muffled voice from the distance, was all she could hear. This was enough, she had to go see what the problem was for herself so, she got out of the car and walked to where the two men stood. Holy muffins! The man clearly spent time in a gym. His body was screaming perfection and his blond hair and green eyes, only added to his appeal. "What's the problem?" Racheal asked politely "Well, clearly, your driver shouldn't have a license" the man said rudely. "Excuse me?" The princess gasped in shock. Who was this man and who did he think he was, talking to her driver like that. "Please mister, I'd like it if you didn't talk to Donald like that" she defended. "You were the one coming to overtake us and he didn't see you. I'm sure he has apologized so why make this a big deal?" She asked him, clearly annoyed at the way he had spoken about Donald. "Sorry doesn't fix cars honey, but what do you know?" He mocked, giving her a sly smirk. "I don't know what gave you the idea that you can talk to me like that, but I'll advice that you don't do that again" she warned. She looked behind him to the similar looking Mercedes Benz only that his was silver. The car sure had a scratch but it wasn't something that could cause a major problem. "I believe I can talk to you how ever I want to miss, you and your driver wronged me" the man yelled. "Okay, maybe your yelling and rudeness can fix your car then" she said. Turning to her driver, she said "let's go home" and they walked back to their car and drove off. "People are so mean" she complained "damn right princess, I'm not even sure he knows you're the princess, he was so disrespectful" the man stated but the anger the princess was feeling, made her ignore him. ♚ ♛ ♚ ♛ ♚ Darling, I can't believe that you're not dressed yet" the queen said as she studied her daughter, she looked so much like her father and the only thing of hers that her daughter inherited, was her hair colour. Blonde. "The duke and his son will be here any moment from now and you know how I feel about being late" The queen said, folding her arms. "I'm trying to look for something to wear mother, I won't be late" Racheal assured but she knew she would be late. She was always late. "I'll have the maids send you a dress" the queen said and left the room. Of course her mother had a dress for this meeting for her. She heard a knock on the door and opening it, she was faced with her most trusted maid Emily. "The queen sent these" Emily said raising the beautiful purple gown to Racheal. She took the dress, examining it. It had some little flowery patterns at the end of it and the top of it. Her mom always chose the best things. "Here" Emily said, handing over the flats she was holding to the princess. "Thank Em" Racheal said. "Time to go meet the visitors" she sighed, looking at herself in the mirror. ♔ ♕ ♔ ♕ ♔ "Good morning father" Racheal bowed when she entered into the waiting room. "My princess" the king said softly, smiling at his daughter. The king always called her sweet names, not caring if there were visitors or not but, Racheal wouldn't have it any other way. "Duke" she acknowledged the man sitting beside her father. "Princess, you look very beautiful as always" the man complimented, she felt the blood in her cheeks. "My son will be here any moment" the duke said when he noticed the princess looking around. Just then, the door to the room opened. "I'm sorry your Grace, I'm sorry father, I'm sorry princes-" "You?" Racheal asked in disbelief. Hi, how was it? Drop your comments❤❤
