* 10 years later *

It was a dark day clouds hung low and the omegas bunched together in sorrow. The flowers around the casket were soft purples and yellow. The pack members sat in high chairs as we all looked at the member we lost. A tall and handsome man stood before us. His eyes a soft green and his hair was chocolate brown. He looked familiar too me. In the 10 years I've worked for this pack I don't ever remember seeing this man.

" Today we lay to rest a hard working dedicated member of Cresent moon. In their 60 years of service they only ever missed a week of work. A tragedy among all. Mary Jane will be missed she was loved and will be laid to rest with her mate and live forever with our Moon Goddess Selena. "

The man bowed to the casket and left a single purple rose next to her hands. She was so peaceful looking you could almost think she was sleeping. Mary had been sick for months and a few days ago on my shift to watch her she asked if I believed her husband and mate was waiting for her. He had died many years before I got here. I told her yes I did and that night she passed in her sleep. I hurried the other omegas towards the house were we needed to serve the dinner for after the funeral. Mary was hoisted down into her final resting place. My hair was wrapped in a tight bun on my head with a bandanna hiding it from sight. As I held the door open for the omegas to walk in I was met with that man again.

" Hello Quinn, "

I was shocked as the other omegas ran inside and started dinner preparations. Getting the food to the counter for the higher ups.

" Hello sir, That was a beautiful goodbye for our elder omega. I'm sorry to be in the way I must get dinner ready. "

He grabbed my hand and placed a soft kiss to my palm. He smiled at me and I was baffled. Noone had ever touched me so gently. I blushed at his touch and pulled away. He looked at me with a look that would melt anyone.

" Meet me tonight in the gardens Quinn. "

I had never been in the gardens as they were for higher ups only. I shook my head.

" I'm not allowed in the gardens sir. I must attend to my chores and my omegas. With Mary gone I have been named head omega. Excuse me sir but I must go. "

His eyes narrowed.

" It's Kogua, Stop calling me sir. "

Realization hit me like a frieght train. I looked at him as I felt my body shaking.

" Kogua....As in the next Alpha Kogua? "

He nodded his head. Looking at me as if he just realized something important.

" As the future Alpha I command you to take off tonight after dinner, clean up and meet me. If you won't meet in the Gardens then I'll meet you here. 8 o'clock don't be late. Alphas orders. "

With that he pressed his idex finger into my nose and walked off. I was confused why was he wanting to meet me? Had I done something wrong? I hurried into the kitchen and started putting the meal together. Holly looked at me.

" What did the future Alpha want Quinn? "

I shook my head in disbelief at what just happened. Why would Kogua give me a minute of his day?

" The strangest thing he wants to meet me here at 8. "

Holly eyed me and grabbed my arm pulling me away from the other omegas.

" What exactly did he say to you Quinn? An alpha would never talk to an Omega other than to give orders. "

I tried to rethink of the moments I spent with him. Trying not to think about his touch on me.

" He kissed my palm and then commanded me to meet him here. Honestly Holly I haven't seen him since me and Finnagan got here. "

She looked at me.

" I still think it's weird you call your dad Finnagan. I guess you can't help it though you were 8 when he came back into your life . "

I thought of Finnagan he had climbed the ranks quickly to lead training. He trained for many hours a day. Last week he broke his arm and due to his age and years of physical strain he is healing slowly. Holly and I got back to preparing dinner. Helping the others in the pack to a good healthy meal. When we finishes I sat with my girls. The omegas were so strong and good workers. When Mary got sick they all named me to take over as head Omega. Holly looked at the clock and back to me.

" Better change unless you plan to meet the Alpha like that. I looked at the clock 730. "

I looked at my messy and dirty uniform. I smiled and laughed.

" Holly I don't have anything else here. "

She got up and grabbed my hand. She smiled as Bailey and Tammy followed us. They giggles as they started pulling the strings to my appron and bonnet. I tried to pull them back but Holly shoved me into her room.

" Don't worry I do. If this Alpha is going to do what I think he will then your going ro look like a million dollars when he does. "

I didn't understand what she meant. I had never been around anyone else here but my omega team. We spent days together cleaning, cooking and keeping the pack house organized. Even with me and Finnagan living towards the far side of the pack now I still worked here. The Alpha had been generous with our pay as we worked around the clock. Holly smiled as she grabbed a warm towel and washed my face.

" You maybe an omega and we may have to do things we dont want too. However were going to do them looking as good as any higher up. "
