Finnagan held tightly to my hand as I gripped ahold of Holly's. We traveled secretly under the pack above us. I felt a pain leaving. Not so much the pack as leaving Kogua. Without even a goodbye just gone into the night without a trace. Finnagan had built the underground escape route years ago when we bought the house. It travels far into the mountains outside of the pack. Both entrance and exit hidden so well only the people who knew where they were would find them. Finnagan told me years ago that if I'm like my mother we would likely have to leave on my 16th birthday. Staying hidden was what was best for us now. When Finnagan stopped us I held my breath. Not sure why we were stopping when we hadn't even left the pack grounds yet. I could hear muffled voices.

" You can't court an Omega Kogua it's unfortunate the moon Goddess did such a thing to you. You can find and court an Alphas daughter. "

I could hear the Lunas voice as she paced above me. Along with the furious stomps of a familiar enemy.

" Cassidy calm down we will find the girl. She will be dealt with. Noone will want an omega anyways. "

Koguas voice boomed through the wood, the dirt, the concert above us.

" You lay a finger on my Quinn and I'll "

His voice threatened back.

" You'll what Kogua? Have you forgotten I'm your father the Alpha of this pack! If you go against me I'll not name you Alpha! "

" I'd rather be a rouge with Quinn than the Alpha of this pack without her! Your pack means nothing to me! I've been watching and waiting for her to turn 18. I've been waiting for my mate for 3 long years! "

I gasped. Kogua was my mate and now we would never be together. I felt the pain in my heart bursting me apart. I felt the tears as Finnagan hurried us along. I was leaving my mate behind here. To protect Holly and Finnagan. A long time passed as we walked down the long road under ground. Finnagan moved the rock infront of our hide out and looked around. His eyess scanning the situation around us. He grabbed our hands as we ran through the woods. Holly keeping up as we bolted towards the edge of the pack territory. I could here faint noises as if we were being tracked. Finnagan moved us into a wooded area.

" Quinn! "

I could hear Koguas voice but I didn't make a sound. As hard as this was I couldnt take him with me. I couldn't stay here either. The pain was as horrid and heartbreaking as the day I lost my father.

" Quinn please! I won't let them hurt you! Quinn I'll findbyou no matter what happens! Where ever you go I'll find you and I'll be everything you ever needed! I won't let then keep you from me! "

I pushed Finnagan towards our escape route. Holly running with us. Her feet catching a branch and tripping her. She gasped and grabbed her leg. Bright red blood trickling down her calve.

" Go I'll only alow you down now. I can't go any further. Go! "

Finnagan picked her up carrying her in his arms. He picked dup pace but I could hear the scouts closing in on us. I looked at the man who had taken care of me for 10 long years. The man I saw as my second one father. He deserved his mate and happiness.

" I am Quinn The daughter of the thief and murder Finnagan Ryder. "

Finnagan stopped dead in his tracks as he turned to me. I looked up at the sky and smiled.

" Today I will protect my second father and his mate and my second mother. Goodbye "

I turned before they could argue and I bolted through the woods. I l ew Finnagan couldn't keep up even his wolf state I was fast. He had Holly to escape with and I could out run any scout. I slid into the view of the scouts. The three wolves looking at me with a we found you smirk.

" Catch me if you can boys. "

With that I darted through the trees. Springing off trees and underbrush. Rubbing Mt body on every tree leading them deep into the Forrest. I had a plan a solid plan. I knew exactly where to jump and sprint. I knew where The scouts would try to get me. I avoided them. Even as the massive wolves lounged and nipped at me I felt like I was flying through the trees. In one week I'd meet my wolf. In one week I'd be back with Finnagan and Holly. In one week I'd be a new me. Today I just needed to escape. I skidded to a stop at the edge of the forest. Quickly climbing a tree and hiding in the leaves. I pressed down against a large limb. the wolves ran into view. Scanning the open ground I could see them confused. By touching every tree I passed Mt scent was bombarding their noses. They couldn't find me I watched Kogua and his father walk out into the opening. I was worried the Alphas would find me. Koguas father looked around.

" She couldn't have just vanished you idiots! Find her! "

Kogua was pacing the woods. Looking for any sign of me.

" Your taking my mate from me! "

Kogua glared at his father frustration and anger covering his face.

" Quinn is mine! You have no right to come between me and her! Cassidy should not have a saying my mates life! I need my Luna to be strong and a great Alpha! "

" That is enough Kogua! I am the Alpha here not you!

Kogua looked at his father. His eyes burned with hatred, consuming him.

" Either you call off this man hunt or I'm disnouncing you as my father to find my mate and be with her! "
