Kogua stood tall, my heart filled with pride as I watched him. My body stiff as not to alarm anyone under me that I was here. Koguas father looked at his son. His face contouring into anger.

" You'd pick an omega b***h over your family! Your pack! You'd give it all up for her! "

Koguas face was unwavering. The love he spoke about was the material of lovers in stories I read as a child. He a strong noble prince and I the lowly peasant girl.

His father slapped his face. Turning his cheek red as he stood by his son. Cassidy came into vumiew watching her father hit her brother she gasped.

" Father why would you hit Kogua? "

I was still processing the turn of went unfolding infront of me. What nonsense was he speaking I was lost and confused.

" I don't know. Holly was wounded and I ran to distract the trackers from them so they could get away. "

Kogua lifted his eyebrows at me. He started back down the tree. Watching to see if I followed him or not.

" Well let's go, If I know Finn we're going to have an epic game of hide and go seek on our hands. "

When my feet hit solid ground I looked at Kogua.
