CHAPTER 3: THE BALL NIGHT

Its 9:00 pm, one of the men want me to get inside his limo car I was so shocked and how long it was my neighbor's apartment got shocked and amazed too because of how shiny it was and while I am having a night with a silver diamond dress backless on it. I can say that I have small boobs, I am a petite person height of 5'0 feet and I am so shy besides I am not used to having like this but I need to do it because that is what my Boss said to be with his date girl on the night ball. 

" Thank you so much"

As I let inside at the car, I look up and down and side to side and amazing the place because of how fancy it looks like and the Limo car that I dream like this before just wanted to see inside and then now I can see it personally and even touch the soft chair it is a  white chair and it looks elegant of the car and even more looks expensive on it. 

I am so nervous about what the ball looks like and I am not into a party person, I am introverted, I only dreaming, read books, and I only just being like the hold of my thoughts that is why because I very look ignorant of something new, a few minutes ago my Mom called me, suddenly I feel joy every time we have facetime with my Dad and sister. I need to send money to them for Mae's tuition tomorrow, I will budget again the money that I have for daily use again. 

For a moment as I think of my family the car stop and I saw the place that world stop to see the outside view a big mansion looks like a place with golds and a big fountain that are so glittering of luxury, I don't know what to say and as I hear a familiar voice at my back it was Michael Ledford. 

" Mi-Michael good evening"

" You look so beautiful today princess"

" Thank you, I feel so nervous can you hold my hand for a moment?"

As he does not refuse to hold my hand and kiss it gently, I know people looking at us lots of cameras are in the air mostly flashing and callings the names as I heard like a celebrity. I feel so embarrassed I do not know what to say or even act like normal. 

"It's okay baby girl, I am here"

We get the entrance to the mansion and I saw a big hall full of beautiful men and women talking to each other as I go slowly downstairs holding Michael, I need to look elegant and be flexible in the crowd. 

" Wow, the girl Mr. Ledford is so beautiful, is she a model? 

A man greeting Michael with us, I feel flattered about it. Do I really like a model? because I never expected people who react with me right now, mostly I did not do anything to impress or even do makeup because I don't have to make up to buy. I don't even know what's the sense of fashion will be.  

" Everyone lemme introduce you, this is Ms. Jenna Monleon she is my date tonight"

Now I feel my body is weakening of excitement and nervousness as well, he introduced me to the crowd totally too many rich people to people that I don't know and especially to those people that they know me. 

" Mr. Ledford I think this is too much I am just here for my work"

" Work? no, you are not doing any work baby girl you are my date"

" But---"

I want to finish my sentence but he kiss me gently to my cheeks me more blush like a tomato now, is he did make me fall in love? does he do this because he wants something from me? 

" W-w-why did you do that?"

" A good luck kiss baby girl come on I am here no one can hurt you after all I am courting you"

As the ball dance start, he is talking to one of the clients he never let go of my hands or even the stay with by my side. I want to eat the cake so much especially the chocolate fountain. As I move to the cake someone is bumping me she is beautiful but she has a bratty attitude towards me.

" Oh, s**t! are you blind?"

" I am sorry, it's my mistake"

" Sorry, what did you do to my dress? you ruined it!"

Wait for what, I don't even get stained the dress or even rip that dress! how come I ruined it? if this girl will never stop, I will beat his ass no one a Filipina can beat such a girl like him. 

" Mapapa-putang ina na talaga ako sayo!"

( YOU GONNA BE SON OF A b***h!)

" What are you saying?"

" Putang ina mo! umalis ka nga sa harapan ko!"

( YOU SON OF A b***h! JUST GET OUT OF MY FACE!)

When I walk out to them she is not yet done instead she grabs my arm and pushes me to the ground makes Ledford gets the attention. He went to me and help me to get up, and the girls were so scared when Ledford came to rescue me. 

" I am sorry Mr. Ledford she ruined my dress"

" Where did she ruined it?"

As a clarity there is no piece of ruined in the dress, I was surprised when Ledford poured the hot chocolate gaze all over on their dresses and make them scream in shock!

" Now it's ruined! now tell the difference between that, you need to say sorry"

" WHAT! THE HELL DID YOU DO TO MY DRESS AND WHO IS THAT f*****g GIRL!"

" She is my future wife and don't you ever lean her of your filthy hands!"

My eyes widened wait, what? future wife? wait this is just a nightmare right or a dream is not true. No, no, no...

" Babygirl slap them"

" WHAT? I can't do that!"

" Slap them or I will punish you"

As he whispered to my ear and I started shaking, he is so seductive that makes me weak that controls me easily he wants. As I moved forward and I remember to the girl what she did to me, I slap her without hesitation and her friend. 

" Now I am happy..."

Confident to get out and grab the hand of Michael Ledford out to the ball, we went to the garden and sit on the bench.
