I laid in Rykers arms as I watched the sky change colors from the rising sun. I couldn't believe the difference I felt from just one night out and reconnecting to not only myself, but to Ryker and the earth itself. As I laid there listening to his heartbeat I watched the sun change the once dark, star lit sky to soft orange and pinks before the blue sky was visible.
I let out a yawn and sat up slowly, trying not to wake him. Of course it was a failed attempt as his arms wrapped around my waist and brought me crashing down into his chest. A soft giggle passed through my lips as I leaned against him and pushed his disheveled hair away from his eyes.
