WHAT IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING
STORY TITLE: SIN SEEKER (what it was in beginning)
CHAPTER ONE
He never thought he could e
ver for once experience such a trauma in his happy life with his family.
Dharham was 11 years old at that time when life was still moving smoothly with his parents and his
sister along with himself. They dwelled in a mansion building in coconut town. The town was named
that for over 20 years ago for the fact it was formally a land meant for growing coconut trees. It
developed with time as people began to get attracted to the arena for its enriched resources and
aesthetic natural view.
His father Marker was formally a notable and affluent engineer who built dispar
ate vehicles and
automatic electrical equipments for sale. He became wealthy at the age of 24 and got married to his
wife at the age of 30. The two couples used to live together in a wide self contain rented apartment at
the villain town until a contract came to him where he earned millions of naira. That was the major
blessing that got to him which lured him into the plan of having his own mansion. The aspiration
became a reality and after 2 years, he decided to move into his new built mansion with his wife. It was
a new year and month when they relocated with many blessings. His wife also gave birth a day to that
particular moment to a young bouncing male child whose name was dharham. It was a new year with
new child and new house. Everything was so fresh and smooth in an unusual manner, their whole life
style transmuted into a better one right from that juncture and they became one of the best couples in
their new coconut town.
From this day began the r
ecord of their historic life together. Dharham later had a younger sister
when he turned 4. He was excited to have gotten a lovely and cute sister whose name was vinicky.
They attended the same school at eagle brain primary and secondary school located some where far
away from their own house in coconut town. They grew up together as the only children of their
parents with enormous love for each other. With money, happiness and health, their lives were lived
without frustration.
Before dharham turned 12, a hapless moment was experienced b
y him which ruined many
blessings in his ecstatic destiny. He could not imagine such thing would happen that might even
jeopardize his chance of schooling. His family ties were broken into pieces by a devilish and cruel
rascal who pretended to be influencial with his immeasurable wealth of properties.
One day, his father got extremely sick from fever. He wanted to rest at home that da
y to avoid
problem in his health which could destroy his chance of working again. A doctor was invited to offer
him a treatment with strictness indoor. He was ordered to have enough rest for like a week to enable
him get hale and hearty before resuming work. But what later happened was far beyond taking the
instruction. On the second day of such health care advice, some one closer to him at his place of work
passed away in a car accident. He could not endure the agony and emotional blight rather than to act
faster. With all pressure and admonishment from his people to make him endure and heed to the
doctor's instruction, he was too resilient enough to violate that. Before a twinkle of an eye, he departed
off home not in his right senses to witness the burial of his closest alter ego who just kissed the dust.
Driving in shock, surprise and perplexity was one of the problems which could be the only source
of road accidents and needed to be avoided. If any one flunks to act in line with that, life shall prepare
a retched and bad fortune for him. He left in confusion and in addition sickness which made his
muscles feeble and his body unrelxed. On his way, he met with a disaster. Dharham's father was so
much engaged in disparate thoughts that he got hit by an automobile when striving to cross the road a
stone throw from his house. What a hapless day it should be named.
The aftermath of that accident was exactly the only step that slid their stur
dy style of living to the
utmost failure. He lost his memory and couldn't even remember any single person even his own
children after several months of being in comma. How could it feel to have a father who had no
memory of his own family. The record of all their moment together got obliterated and his personality
was forgotten completely. That culminated the mess that geared into the family which discreted their
bond. It was as if daddy was the only one that hooked the ties of mother, son and daughter. His memory loss was severe that he didn't notice what was going on in his life. He had no idea benefit in looking into the problems of people he did not know.
The revolution of how the matter arose started from this point of misfor
tune. Dharham thought
his mom was too loyal to his father from the beginning that he would not leave him. But the languid he
fell in, revealed the actual side of hers. She became so free to men of disparate kinds without minding
his husband's quagmire. She commiserated for a month and ended up choosing her way out of his
husband's abode to the man she had been flirting with. How iniquitous could she be to her own hubby
even to the extent of avoiding dharham because he opposed her in the cruel act of hers.
Dharham was the only one who took the side of his father, thinking that he might reco
ver very soon.
He took his time to care for him as a company despite the fact he couldn't still recognize him. He was
too young to know how business was being run to fend the family, for that his father's wealth went
down the drain. What also made him appalled was that his own sister sanctioned the idea of her mom
because she was too young to differentiate between wrong and right. That made him lonely in this
that he unconsciously dropped out of school.
His own biological mother abandoned him because he was not suppor
tive to her hook up
business. She became immersed in the pleasure of life and forgot her own blood all for no cogent
reason. She went too far to deplete their wealth by selling them off to outsiders to earn money leaving
only the house and the assets in it. That also affected dharham and his father. She was so free to
extort her husband's property because he wasn't healthy in memory and also by falsifying a
mendacious claim about her ownership of the assets. She made him believe they were not related in
any way and that he was a mere street man.
With all efforts by dharham to ensure his father r
egained his memory, it was impossible. He
moved heaven and earth, creating opportunities to make him recall. Still, all endevour was wastage.
But one thing he earned from his father was trust. Despite the fact he could not identify him as his
own son, he became so altruistic to him even more than the way he used to be before. The two of
them lived together in average wealth status, survivng from hard labour and the sale of some of their
assets in the house. They lived happily together, forgetting the existence of their other two family
members who thought they were nothing but useless species.
