Chapter 2: The Bond

It was a very cool evening and my wolf was screaming for me to let it out, I left the house and went into the woods, took off my clothes and my wolf didn't take much time to surface, it ran so fast with so much joy.

All of a sudden it stopped, it was no longer running to the usual direction as before, it was heading towards the outer part of the woods as if it was being removed, I tried all I could to talk to it because it was dangerous for a wolf to be seen by humans but my wolf was not listening to me any longer,

when it got closer I followed it gaze and it was looking at a girl sitting across and I think she was lost in thought, I tried to warn my wolf...

"Hey!! What are you trying to do?"

"Shush.....be quiet"

Yh I could communicate with my wolf, every werewolf can.

My wolf moved slowly and mistakenly hit the sticks on the ground which caused the girl to look so scared, she looked around and I guess she couldn't see us, she tried to run but my wolf was faster... it got close and bit her.....

I could smell another wolf it was close, it wasn't from my pack either...... it was asif the spell cast on my wolf has faded I could control my wolf now .....we ran back to the palace.

I told my mum everything that transpired, she was kinda pissed but I do not really know why.

"Xavier you don't just go around bitting anyone you see"

"Mum!! I told you I couldn't control my wolf it felt like it was possessed,it took control when I should and it wasn't listening to me either."

"Something isn't just right, it's really weird and you know it, the dark forces would do whatever they can to stop you from meeting your mate and u also know the witches are not happy I'm married to your father right?"

"Yh I know mum"

"So please try as much as you can to avoid unnecessary things please, I'm going to look into that bite, I have a feeling that something is up try to communicate with your wolf if it could give you some answers".

"Ok mum, please don't tell my father".

"For now I wouldn't, but if I don't find my answers I would have to tell him".

I tried all I could to make my wolf speak to me but it was mute for God knows why.

It has been a stressful weekend, the bite from the wolf was nearly invincible, when I regained consciousness that day I found myself in the house with my whole family staring at me weirdly....

it was Isabella who told me what had happened, she said they heard a knock on the door they opened it and found me lying on the floor unconscious.

They called the family doctor and she said I passed out as a result of shock and I would be okay ....

Yh I'm okay but I just feel weird .....hehehe... don't mind me I didn't transform to a werewolf, I read books saying if you get bitten by a wolf you will begin to show some characters of a wolf but don't worry I'm strong and fine and I do not have super powers.

I got to school early today because everybody at home is still mute towards me no one had asked what happened to me except my preety little Isabella.

We had chemistry practicals by 10am, so I was preparing and packing the books I needed for practicals when I noticed some walk towards me...

"Hi Aradia, my name is claire"

"H..h..hi you know my name already"

"Yh I just saw it on your note book".

"Ooh... you are in this class Yh?"

"Yh... I'm prepared for practicals and I wanted us to go together".

"Oo..okay.... I'm almost done packing".

I felt butterflies.... Some one just spoke to me, I felt like crying....she even volunteered to walk with me for chemistry class...

We walked together sat together and even came back together.....After lectures were over we both went to our various homes, surprisingly she was not living so far from my house.

He was different from others, he was handsome not perhaps in the conventional sense but he had the appearance which could make him stand out in the crowd, he was fair, almost pale white.

His unfathomable golden brown eyes contrasted exceptionally with his light toned face.

His name is Leo and he is a student of Riverdale high school...

I arrived at Riverdale today after being suspended for a month ..... the environment did not change just that there are a lot of new faces obviously the freshmen.

Due to my suspension I got taken back to the freshman class which was disheartening to my mum and dad and not me and I didn't really give a f**k.

School today was boring as usual I was literally sleeping through out most of the classes until a family scent caught my attention..

I was very sure I knew the scent but I just couldn't place a finger where......

Ohhh.....oooh my goodness !!!!

It was the same scent I got in the woods from that girl I helped .....

Lately my wolf feels elated whenever I'm preparing to go to school, I couldn't tell why because it doesn't act this way before..

There this new guy.... not so new tho rumor has it that he was suspended from school because of so many reasons I couldn't figure out the truth from all the rumors, for some reasons I hated the fact that he almost stole my shine....

Whenever he comes in to school every one is staring and comparing us both.....to top it up he is now in the same class as I am.

Sighs......

I'm usually not a back bencher but I got an empty seat close to the window on the day I resumed, I got pissed when I found that I was sitting behind the girl I bumped into....

This has made me hate this school more but today the normal hate feeling I used to have wasn't there I felt this kind of tingling feeling....that feeling you get when your foot is being tickled....maybe it's my wolf again.

Worse of it all this new guy was sitting on the seat in the next row opposite me, this school just couldn't be more horrible.

Our classes where over and I was so excited to leave this place and go home, I packed my books and was leaving when Leo.... Yh that's his name, the teacher introduced him to us .... he got up from his seat and was walking towards the same girl ...eeehm ...Aradia I think is her name...

My wolf felt angered... I felt pissed too, I felt like punching him.... I had to control my wolf and my self this time and walked out of the class.

I never knew Jadis would keep her child with her baby daddy, fate brought me to her..... I had the gift of seeing the past when I touch someone..... when I touched her, I saw everything....

Everything about her childhood and the poor child doesn't know who her mother is ....

Poor child!!... ha ha ha !!!!

I need to report to the coven before she meets her mate and become a threat to us.
