Missing Pieces.....

"MAMMA" Jayden screams running down the stairs. "What girl?" Leah exclaims. 'Where are my all white K Swiss shoes?? "Jayda, remember yesterday I washed them and put them on top of the dryer to dry!" 'Oh, sorry I forgot. Let me go get them. Look I cannot even describe how happy and blessed I am right now. I am one blessed She-wolf. I don't take anything for granted. I have parents who love me beyond measure. But sometimes I feel like something is missing. I don't feel complete. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for the life I've been given. My mom and dad are the Head female and male warriors of the Evergreen Pack. "See, the thing is, I'm adopted. I never knew my biological parents. I was found during a routine border patrol round 15 years ago. I was hidden in the bottom of a tree trunk that had been hollowed out. My mom heard a small whimper, and started walking towards it. It lead her to an old oak tree that had a good sized opening. It wasn't too obvious that a baby was there though. Anyways there I was, under thin layers of sheets. Dad said they took one look at me and they're hearts melted. It was love at first sight. Of course they had to take me to Alpha Justin and Luna Crystal to ask for permission to keep me. "Darnell, Leah, come sit, Alpha Justin says humbly. "Well, I see u two found an unexpected surprise while doing pack patrol?" 'Why yes we did Alpha, my dada said happily. "Well I'm sure u do know Darnell that we have to make sure that the child isn't missing and her parents aren't searching for her yes?' Yes Alpha I understand . 'Also Darnell we also have to take into account rogues.' See rogues are not part of a pack. They either did something to get their pack ties severed, or they renounced it. See wolves are social creatures. We crave togetherness. If we go without for too long, a wolf can go feral or bloodlust. Whichever comes first. We understand Alpha.If a year passes and we haven't heard anything about here parents or whereabouts we will pledge here into the pack okay? Okay Alpha, they both said.
