Dark clouds have started to swirl out over the open sea. The Black Furry sits patiently in the eye of the storm. The last week has been hell for the crew. First Mate Bryan has recovered thanks to the vial Mysteri hid in the life raft she sent back. Something is wrong with the world and the gods are angry. This is the reason for this awful storm. Hopefully Mysteri is okay. No word has been heard from her and the crew is only left to contemplate the worst. The war for Mysteri’s heart has begun. “Poseidon!” roars Bryan, “I know you can hear me. Show yourself. I have words that need to be said.” Poseidon rears his crowned head from the ocean waves. “Yes” he says with a smirk. “Mysteri loves the sea. You will not lose her to Ares and his land-lubing warlords. If you force her though she will rebel and never return. You know this, so why this hell of a storm? She must have a ship to come home too.” “Aw yes, my stupid cousin Ares is trying to interfere, but Mysteri is heading to the Fates to find out about the Pirate Princess Prophecy. If she is to connect all the pieces together, she will choose running a kingdom over being a Pirate Captain. If I show her though that her beloved crew is in danger, she will come rushing back to me and the sea in an instant. You are my insurance.” An unwelcoming feeling creeped up Bryan’s spine. Insurance…what does he have in mind? “Don’t worry Fist Mate Bryan; I will not let Mysteris’ ship sink to the bottom of the ocean…unless, of course, I need more incentive. You best all hope she makes the right decision. Your lives depend on it. Hahaha!” and with that Poseidon was gone, leaving the Black Furry and her crew still struggling to stay afloat. Oh Mysteri, please come back to us…
