Chapter - 115 - A beautiful day

Steev's POV :

We wear all ready and set to go to the office and work with lot of enthusiasm. I was expecting Sophia to come there that day during the time we go to office because the previous day as well Sophia was present during the time of going to the office, that's why I guessed Sophia might be outside the house or might be arriving in a short span of time. When John and I went out of the room we found that one car was standing in front of the gate. when we went a bit closer near the car with lot of confusion there we discovered that it was Shika's car and she was standing over there waiting for usm so I went running near Shika and said , " hey good morning , how come you cand here today ? what's the matter ? " " why ? can't I come here to meet you ? Is it important to have any matter ? " she said. " No no , I was just asking casually. Tell me. " , I said. " today just for a day wanted a short break , wanted to take a small break from my work , that is why I am on leave today , so I thought in that name I can drop you both and we can meet as well , so I came here. " , she said. " oh okay fine Shika , so thoughtful of you. but... but .... I was dragging the sentence because I was thinking what if Sophia arrives there and nobody would be there near my home and she might think even without informing her we left from there and I was not that stone hearted or selfish to do that. but I was really worried how to tell Sophia's name in front of Shika, that's why I was standing still right there. " Hey Steev please come and sit inside the car and John you too, please sit inside the car. " said Sophia. John looked at me and figured out that What was going on my mind that's why John said , " hey Steev , shall we wait for sometime for Sophia as well ? " so quickly shika replied , why to wait for Sophia ? doesn't she know to go to office by herself ? why do we need to wait for her ? " it is not the point of travelling or not knowing to travel but what if she comes here ? that is the reason why John said that. " , I replied " But why to think, I don't think that she might come. " , Shika said. " But what if she comes here ? " , I said again. " but for what she comes here ? can't she go by herself . " , Shika said. She was not trying to understand my point. But it was not her fault as well. " yes definitely she can go by herself , but yesterday she had come here at this time and we all had gone to the office together. " , I said. " oh that is the matter , I see. " , said Shika. " yes Shika , that is why I was wondering what if she comes, it is not that I want her to come but what if she comes. " , I said " Its fine no problem , she will manage by herself , you need not worry about her she knows to travel and she will travel you need not worry you kindly sit inside the car and do not waste all of our time , it's my request. " , said Shika. I was totally blank that time because I was not in the state to disagree with Shika as well because she had come to meet me and drop me as well so it would be so silly and weird of me to wait for Sophia and ignore Shika and her concern. I decided let me sit in the car and go with Shika. However I thought would speak to Sophia in the office and explain her what ever had happened I thought, but still I was wondering why didn't Sophia arrive that day , it was really the time we would be travelling by auto she should have been left from there by then because it would be late for her but there was not much time needed me and John because we were travelling by car and it would reach A bit earlier. I went and sat inside the car and John also sat and then shika started the car and we left from there. but I was feeling bad for Sophia as well. I had considered her like my sister that's why I was concerned about her, but I did not want to lose the moment with shika that's why I stopped thinking about Sophia and then started having some good conversation with Shika. " How was your day yesterday in the office , Steev ? asked Shika. " Yess shika the day was not that great because it's getting hectic day by day. within two more days I mean within day more and our training will be over and we have to work by our own. I have feeling that is going to be really really hard for us but there is no other option we have to do that we have to earn for that need to work hard get success in life then of course we will have to run the way expect us to run. That's why I have made up my mind , my mind is also set and then for that reason is none other than John. " , I said. " yes that's great and really good to hear that. And your confident enough to start your work, and John thank you very much for supporting him. " , said shika. I was really happy that she thanked John for motivating me. it indirectly meant that she had considered me as someone who was really close to her or she had considered me as close person I felt. I was really happy and smiling by myself m And John had noticed that. John too was smiling and I too noticed that smile. And I could see that Shikha was blushing a bit too , so I was getting few hints about the fact that she was feeling for me and I was waiting to get those feelings in a open manner other than only through hints, I wanted her to open up and tell me what was she really feeling about for me because she was only giving me hints and not approaching about that matter, that is why I was too much curious and I was also worried the other side because I was worried that what if I thought too much and at the end what if there was nothing at all. I thought it's better that I just wait for her to confess if anything was there because right things and great things take time. sometimes it takes really lot of time. But I was ready to wait for it because it was something really very beautiful that was coming in my life. And if that would happen my life would fill with colours , I thought. The feeling which I had for Shika was really special and that feeling I never had before or I would never feel that for someone else as well . She was very special for me. and that day there and then I Decided to figure out exactly what was there on my mind. I decided after the office gets over I would go back home and decide my mind. However John knew me from before and he already knew my each move. That time I wanted some third persons suggestion and I was thinking with whom to discuss that with.

I thought to think about it later. I was not expecting Shika to talk anything much because I was completely enjoying her presence with me. I was sitting on the front seat and John was sitting on the backside. John already knew everything what was going on my mind and because of which probably I was getting confidence. Or else without him I would have been nervous or shy in front of Shika . But that day I was not too shy because she had already become close to me and that closeness had already began. I did not want to talk a lot with Shika and disturb her because she was driving. I didn't even realise but I was looking at Shika continuously. " Steev what happened, why are you looking at me like that? " , asked Shika . When she said like that I realised that I was looking at her. I felt really embarrassed. I was wondering from when did I start behaving that way. Shika was smiling. And because of which I thought she did not feeling weird or angry. " No no nothing happened Shika , just like that. " , I replied. " Are you sure ? " , Shika asked. " Yes yes definitely I'm sure. " , I replied. " Ha ha ha ha. " , Shika started laughing. " Why Shika ? Why are you laughing ? " , I asked. " Nothing ! nothing ! " , she told. " Why nothing something might be there right. " , I said. " I will tell it to you later. " , she said. " Hmm.. okay fine as you wish. " , I replied. By the time we were having fun it was time for John to get down to go to his office. But as usual I was a dumb person. Shika stopped the car. " Shika why did you stop the car ? " , I asked. " You don't know? " , she asked. " No I don't know . Why what happened? " , I asked. " it's time for John to get down because we have reached near his office. " , shika said. " oh oh yes Correct. sorry I did not realise at all. " , I said. " Steev, you did not realise even that I am sitting here behind ? " , asked John. " no John nothing like that, how can I forget that you were sitting. Or why will I even forget that. " , I replied. " Okay fine. see you later then bye. " , said John. " Bye John, and I am sorry. " , I said. " No problem bro. " , he said. And then he thanked Shika for dropping him there and then he left to his office. After that in the car it was only Shika and me. My heartbeat started rasing too fast. I was speechless as I was feeling nervous because it was only her and me. " Steev i wanted to tell you something. " , shika said while blushing. " Yes shika tell me. what is that ? " , I asked. I was feeling really excited to know what was she going to say. " Steev is it possible for you to take a leave today from the office? " , she asked. " Leave ? but why? " , I asked. " Because however i am also on leave . if you also take a leave we both could go somewhere out. That's why I asked. " , she said. " But shika now my training is going on and it is very important for me, I cannot miss it. And also I don't think I might get a leave like this suddenly. " , I said. " Hmm yes you are right Steev. what to do now? I really wanted to go out with you. " , she said. " Let's do one thing. Let us go out on Sunday. However it a holiday that day right. " , I said.
