Chapter - 116 - Roller Coaster of Emotions

Steev's POV :

Shika wanted to go for a outing with me. That was the most happiest moment for me to be honest. It was a Friday morning. I was really excited to go out with Shika on Sunday. However we had an off one Saturday as well but meeting Sunday was comparatively better I felt. " Okay then it's decided. Let us meet on Sunday. ", Shika said. " Yes Shika Sunday Is fine. " , I said. " Do you have holiday on Saturday as well ? " , she asked. " Yes Shika Saturday also I have a holiday. " , I replied. " Yes but Sunday is only fine right ? " , said Shika. " Yes exactly. " , I said. " But where to go ? " , she asked. " Where ever you say. " , I replied. " Okay then I will decide and let you know. " , she said. " Yes that would be great. " , I said. I was really very happy that she wanted to spend time with me. I was dieing to tell that to John. " Shall I ask you something? " , said Shika. " Yes Shika definitely you can. , Please tell me . " , I said. " Do you like Sophia? " , she said. " What!! " , I asked in a huge shock. " Just answer my question. What is Sophia for you? " , she added. " You know what I have considered Sophia as my sister. And I too believe that she considers me as her brother. " , I replied. Shika stopped the car. I was scared suddenly what might have happened. " Why did you stop ? " , I asked. " Actually I wanted to tell you something. " , she said. " Yes Shika please tell me. " , I said. I was literally shivering. I was feeling very scared by thinking what she might say. She said , " I really feel.. " " You really feel what ? , please continue. " , I said. " I really feel very Jealous when Sophia comes with you. Even if she is around you I feel Jealous and I get angry. " , she said. " But why to get jealous like that ? What is the reason? " , asked. " Because I want to be the only girl close to you, I do not like any other girl getting closer to you. That is the reason why I told like that. " , she said. Within myself I was feeling really very happy to hear all that was Shika saying. But I had to behave mature and confident.

" But as I told you she is like my sister. So what is the issue? " , I asked. " In your mind you consider her like your sister. But who knows what is there in her mind. " , she said. " No Shika , you are miss understanding Sophia, she too considers me like a brother. " , I replied. " Did she tell you that you are her brother? " , shika asked. " No she did not tell me. But she did not behave any wrong way as well na. " , I said. " And in office I do not have any friends other than Sophia. If I have any doubts in office I will be asking her and she will help me. If I stop talking to her then whom to ask the doubts.. " , I replied. " You are not getting my point Steev. " , said Sophia. " Shika listen, you do not worry, I will never get too close with anyone else other than you. You know what , the feeling which I have for you can be never felt for someone else and such a feel I am feeling for the first time. And it's only for you. " , I said. " Wow really. " , she said. " Wow ? but what? " , I asked. " Don't you remember what you said just now ? " , she asked. " Sorry. " , I said. " You told about your feelings with me. " , she said. " Oh my God. I am really sorry if I have hurt you. By mistake I said what was there on my mind mostly. Really sorry. " , I said. " No Steev you do not say sorry to me . I did not feel bad at all, I really felt happy that you opened up genuinely. " , she said. " But I was really feeling very much awkward there. And I was really worried that I might get late to office as she had stopped the car mid way. I was thinking do I need to tell her or not to start the car and leave me at the office. But again I was scared. Then I thought I had to reach office at any cost so I need to tell her. But by the time I could tell her she herself started the car and drove It. But she was not talking anything calming was driving the car. I was so awkward that I was unable to open my mouth. I thought to just sit silently. Shika did not speak a work nor I spoke anything. I didn't not know if she too was embarrassed or what was the matter. Just to be on the safer side I did not speak a work. Few minutes passed and finally my office had arrived.

" Shika, we have reached the office. Shall I leave? " , I asked. " Yes Steev you leave. You know what I will be coming to pick you up at 5 p m . is that okay? " , she said. I was literally speach less. " really? but how come suddenly? " , I asked. " I told you right I am on leave today. That's why I will be coming do not go okay. " , she said. I had no other option than agreeing. " Okay Shika fine. " , I replied. " okay then see you bye. " , she said. " Bye Shika take care. " , I said. and then she left. I was literally too much worried and I was still having That awkward feeling in my mind for whatever I had spoken with Shika. I seriously did not have any idea that how did I all of a sudden spoke all of my feelings about her with her itself. After speaking I was really thinking what did I exactly speak ? But even though after speaking all that to her I did not get any reply from Shika about whatever I had said. She said she did not feel bad for whatever I said. And she replied with a smile on her face but she did not even give any reply. She did not speak anything after that. I did not speak anything after that because I was very much awkward and scared as well , but even shik did not speak anything after that. I really did not know what was happening that day. That day was very important for me in the office because that day was the last training day for us and it was on one Friday , from the coming monday onwards we had to be and independent employee. The trainer always says that they will guide us or keep guiding us but it will would not be 100 % it would be only probably 20 % or even less most of the time. So I was very much scared and that day was really important for me because I had to concentrate properly on whatever they would teach us that day, but after the conversation that took place with Shika that day on the car had made me really upset and my mind was really diverted to some where else but as a human being we had to play several roles in several places we had to behave differently in different place because of which I had to forcefully convert my mind and try to concentrate on work before entering the building. Before entering the gate I prayed to my lord and enter the gate. There was one more tension and worry which was on my mind that was above Sophia. I was wondering whether she had reached the office or not I did not go to call her phone. I thought let me go to the office and check if she had come there or not. At first I thought I had to make a fake scenario to tell with Sophia when she would ask me about where was I in the morning but then I thought let me tell the truth, whatever happens Sophia would definitely understand me and my situation. I entered the gate and started walking to the upstairs where are working for was. once the stairs were finished directly we would reach to the floor. I went and sat on my cubicle and I saw the Sophia had not yet reached the office. It was 8:45 a m. and there was only 10 minutes for her to be inside the floor because by 8:55 a m. everyone needs to be inside the floor or else then they need to listen some extra advise from respective people and I did not want Sophia to face that so I thought it was time to call her and ask what had happened and where was she. I took out my phone and to opend Sophia's contact number and by the time I was about to click her number and make a phone call I could see that sophia was walking towards the cubicle after seeing that I got a sort of relief that finally she was there in the office. She came and sat next to me in her cubicle. " Hey Sophia how are you!? What happened? why are you late today? I asked. " Nothing much Steev. leave it. " , she said. " But why? please tell me what is the matter? " , I said. " I will talk to you later during the break time. Now let us concentrate on our work. " , she said. I was really unaware that what was the problem. I was clueless . The person who spoke so nicely to me the previous day was not talking properly the next day. It was really something to be worried of. In a great difficulty I had made up my mind and diverted it to concentrate on the work but Sophia's behaviour had really shattered me. But I did not give up. I forgot all the pain. The trainer had arrived. " Hello guys good morning. " , he said. And people replied him with a good morning. " So let us begin today's very important training. " , he said. Before the training started I prayed once again and began.

The training began and I automatically forgot everything and only concentrated on that. By God's grace I was able to understand everything. Hours and hours passed. Neither Sophia spoke to me nor I spoke to her. I thought until I know to do my work accurately I need to ask anyone's help. Hours passed and it was finally 12 p m. It was lunch break. " Guys it is lunch break now so you all can go now, let's meet after an hour. " , he said. " Yes sir " , the crowd replied. Everybody Started getting up and going to have their lunch. I saw that no body was allowed to have their lunch in the floor , everyone had to go to the cafe ( canteen ) and have their lunch. I really liked that concept. I too got up and went near Sophia because very badly wanted to know what she wanted to say. " Hey Sophia shall we go to have lunch? " , I asked. " Yes sure let's go. I have tiffin for both of us. " , she replied. " Thank you Sophia " , I said. " No problem" , She replied.
