Chapter - 127 - Lot of Ups and Downs

Steev's POV :

I knew John tried preparing tasty food with good flavours because he wanted me to have the food without having any trouble. John could give me only bread as well but he knew it would be difficult for me to eat so he did that and I was glad about it. John and I both sat together and had food. After that John went and took out the tablet for me and gave it to me. After that I had my tablet with water. " Steev, now you had your medicine, now it's time for you to take rest. So take a nice nap and wake up. I am sure you will feel better. " , said John. " Yes John you are right. But I am not getting sleep because I already slept a lot today. " , I said. " I know that Steev but you have taken tablet so you will definitely feel sleepy so do not worry. " , said John. " John, shall I say something? " , I asked. " Yes Steev, you can, tell me. " , he said.

" Shall I meet Shika today itself ? " , I asked. " Are you gone crazy, Steev? why are you doing this. Tomorrow you are meeting her right and over that you are not well as well. Why can't you take rest today and meet her tomorrow. " , said John. I really wanted to meet Shikha that day itself and clear everything so that if everything goes well and everything remains fine then the next day we could meet has we plan I need not go in the morning with lot of stress and confusion in my mind I can go happily from my home to me and the day from the beginning till the end will go in really happy manner. I did not want the special day to be spoilt because it was one First official meet which we both were having. I decided however I had to convince John and he have to meet Shika the same day if I would call Shika and ask her to meet me then I was sure she would definitely come. " John, you know what if I meet Shika today and clear everything then definitely I will be fine. Please let me do it, please. " , I requested John. Because I did not want to hurt John or did not want to go against him. That's the reason I was requesting him and asking his permission to meet Shika that day itself.

The time was allmost 7:00 p. m.

" Okay Steev, I will not stop you. If you strongly feel that what you are going to do will be fine then I will support you. Go ahead brother. Meet het and clear the things today itself so that your tomorrow would be beautiful. " , said John. John given me the permission and John's support was with me. John supports me for anything he gives me motivation and if he said me that he is with me or he was with me then the matter was a bang on. I would achieve anything in this world If John would support me. And that day I had got John's support and he also motivated me about that and yes I was all charged with energy and confidence to go out there and meet Shika and come back with happiness. " Call Shika and tell her you want to meet her but do not tell why you want to meet her. Just tell her some other reason then it would be fine. " , said John. " Yes John you are right. I will tell her some other reason. " , I said. That time my worries were vanished by fifty percent.

I do not know how I was all excited and happy. Few minutes ago I was unconscious just my over thinking but at the current situation I was very much excited and with lot of excitement I was thinking about what reason I had to give to meet Shika. But then as suddenly I felt that as John said I needed to do. I thought I would directly call Shika and tell her I was not well and I was feeling like meeting her. And If I would say her that then definitely Shika would come to meet me I felt because she had a very soft corner for me. I picked up the phone without any second thought and dialled Shika's number and the phone started ringing. The phone rang but Shika did not pick the call and the call got disconnected. When that happened I felt probably I had no luck to meet her that day. I felt may be I had no other option than meeting her the next day itself and so on. As we all know that our brain never sleeps and may be that's the reason why we get lot of different thoughts just within a fraction of seconds. As I was thinking all that suddenly my phone started ringing. When I checked my phone it was Shika. I was so happy to see her call. I quickly picked up the call. " Hello Shika. " , I said. " Hey Steev, how are you. " , Shika said. " Actually I am not well, having little bit of fever. " , I said. " What? Fever? How come suddenly you got fever? did you go to doctor? did you take medicines? Tell me how are you feeling now?... " , Shika showered her questions on me. " Shika... Shika... calm down girl. I took my medicines, I had nice food, and currently I am far better then before. So please do not worry. " , I said. " Hmm... okay but please take care of yourself Steev. " , said Shika. " Shika.. actually I wanted to say you something. " , I said. " Yes Steev, what is it please tell me. " , she replied. " However we are meeting tomorrow but still, I wanted to meet you now as well. If you don't mind shall we meet now? " , I asked. " Now? really? " , she said. " I am sorry for asking you to meet now. But I was very badly feeling like meeting you today. And I couldn't wait till tomorrow. Thats why I called you now only. Sorry if you felt awkward. I didn't mean to do that " , I said. " Steev, are you serious? what is this sorry and all? did I say I felt awkward or did I say I won't be coming? " , said Shika. " No you didn't say, but..." , I said and stopped. " No buts are accepted. I am coming that's all. " , said Shika. " Thank you so much Shika, I am really happy. " , I said. " Anytime Steev, anything for you. " , she said. " I know Shika. " , I said. " I will be coming there. I will be reaching there within half an hour. okay. until then take care. " , she said. " Yes Shika, sure. You too take care. " , I said. And then we hung the call. " John... John ... " , I called. John came from the kitchen. " Yes Steev, what happened? she is coming right? " , he asked. " Yes yes definitely she is coming And I am very happy about it. " , I said. " I am happy for you as well brother. Congrats. " , he said. " Yes bro thank you. I called her just because you motivated me. Or else I would just sit like that. " , I said. " I already told you Steev, you should not thank me for anything. Did you forget it so soon? " , said John. " Yes John, I remember. But the word thank you is an emotion and it comes out by itself. " , i said. " Okay cool. " , he replied. " John , Shika said she would be reaching here by half an hour. So I am thinking I can get up and get a bit fresh. What say? " , I asked. " Yeah Steev, as you feel. If you feel you need to fresh up before she comes then it's well and good. " , John replied. " Yes exactly. " , I said. John helped me to get up and then I slowly walked to the washroom to get a bit fresh.

After ten minutes I came back from the washroom. And after that I was feeling even better. " John I'm back and you know what, I am feeling much better now. " , I said. " That's great. Good I'm happy for the improvement that is taking place within you. " , John replied.

" Yes John, I am also very happy. " , I said. There was only few minutes left for Shika to reach and I was eagerly waiting for her.

" Hey Steev, where will you talk to Shika about the matter? " , John asked. " Why where? We will be meeting here only right. In our home. " , I replied. " No you are not understanding what I want to say. I am telling you that if you and Shika would talk here I have no issues but here I will also be there and I do not want to be in between you guys and also I am sure Shika might get uncomfortable to talk in front of me if I also would be here. So we better think something. " , said John. " Hmm.. yes what you said is right. But what to do now? Do you have any idea ? " , I asked. " let me think. " , said John. By the time I heard the sound of door bell. We thought so soon Shika even reached. " Hey John, I think Shika arrived so soon. what to do now? " , I said. " I have no idea. Let's open the door first, then it's see. " , said John. And then John opened the door. When the door was opened we saw that it was Sophia and not Shika. We were surprised to see Sophia at that time to our house. And we could see that Sophia was crying. " Hey Sophia, why are you crying? " , asked John. Still Sophia crys nonstop. John goes closer to Sophia and holds her hands and asks once again politely and calmly, " Sophia, please tell us why are you crying? We are really worried to see you crying. " , Said John. " Yes I will tell why I am crying. Actually I was very scared because I got a really bad dream. It was really horrible that's the reason I came here running to share it with you guys because I was getting very uncomfortable and was feeling scared and I am not in a situation to share that thing with my family members that's why I came here. " , said Sophia. " Oh you got a bad dream. But what was the dream? " , I asked. Sophia starts crying again. " Sophia, we can understand that you are really scared and terrified after you got a very bad dream but until you share it with us we won't understand what had happened and because of which we even won't be able to help you out in consoling you and calming you down. So please do not cry and sit down peaceful and tell us what is the dream about and why are you so scared because of the dream. " , John said. I was not able to talk much because I was tensed a lot to see Sophia crying and another scary part was Shika was on the way to our home and Sophia had also come there. So in case Shika sees Sophia in our house then I couldn't even imagine what would be the scenario. It would be literally too horrible.
