THE DRAMATIC LOVE AND HATRED

Chapter 7

Steev's POV :

We pressed the door bell and stood outside. Shika quickly came and opened the door. As soon as I saw her I immediately handed over the medicines to her. She was very happy that we helped her. She said, “Please come inside and sit down”. And then we went inside the house and sat on the sofa. She went to her mother’s room and gave the medicines to her. Her mother took the medicines and slowly after sometime she fell asleep. Shika was sitting next to her mother inside the room and we both were waiting outside in the living room. She did not come out at all to talk to us from almost an hour. It was 8:30 PM already so John said, “Come on  Steev let’s go home now. However Shika has to sit with her mother and also our work is done so let’s not disturb them, Let’s leave from here”. But I did not want to go back from there. I still wanted to be in Shika’s house. John said, Let’s go inside and tell her that we are leaving”. And he went inside to inform her that we were leaving. “It’s late already, we are thinking of leaving back to our room.. see you Shika”, John said to Shika.

“I am so sorry I just made you guys wait outside and I didn’t even thank you guys properly”, said Shika.

“No that’s okay. You please take care of your mother and yourself”, John said.

“If you don’t mind can you guys please stay for at least 15 minutes more. Please have something and go”, Shika requested. “Yes yes sure.. we will stay, there is no problem at all”, I said very excitedly.

John stared at me. John was bored there and wanted to go back and rest. I smiled at John and said, “That’s okay John let us stay here for sometime”.

“Okay okay fine ”, John replied. Shika went to the kitchen and brought 4 sandwiches and 2 cups of tea. It looked very delicious. “Please have it”, Shika said. Looking at the sandwich John saw my face and laughed. Thank God Shika did not notice. He looked at me and laughed because last night I had a dream of Shika giving me sandwiches. After that we started having the sandwich. The taste of the sandwich was really very yummy. I told, “Shika the taste of the sandwich is very tasty”. “Thank you Steev. I prepared this sandwich today”, she replied. I was happy that I got to taste the sandwich which Shika prepared.
