Steev's POV :
Shika started narrating her life incident with us. She said, there are only two people in my house, my mother and myself. My father passed away some years back. After my father’s death we had to face a lot of problems financially. After my father’s death my mother was in a huge shock and started with many heath issues as well. It was really very tough time for us and that was the time when we were in our final year in college. I had no money for my mothers medicine. I did not fell like asking help with anyone and I was hesitating but then I remembered about you Steev, I was very comfortable with you and didn’t even hesitate to ask help with you. That’s why I had come to you and asked Rs 5000. You didn’t even think for a second and gave me the money. You didn’t even ask me what was the reason. And that money helped me a lot during those days. I was and I will be always grateful to you Steev. After our studies completed I got a good job and then slowly slowly our financial problems got reduced. I did not have your contact number as well that’s why I could not even thank you properly and could not return the money. We were unable to stay in touch too. Yesterday when I saw you suddenly I was very happy and I came running to meet you and also to return the money. May be it was not required to return the money after so many years, I am not sure but I wanted to give it to you. And once again I am saying.. Thank you for that day and for today as well Steev”.
My eyes were filled with water. After listening to her story my respect towards Shika had still more increased.
No need to thank me Shika. I am happy that I helped you when you needed my help. I was, I will and will be there forever by your side. Do not hesitate to ask any help okay”, I replied her whole heartedly.
“Sure.. That’s so sweet of you Steev”, She replied.
After all the serious stories Shika said “Let’s meet up some day. Please inform me whenever you are free”. I was dancing within myself after hearing what Shika said. “Yes yes sure.. let’s meet up soon and enjoy somewhere in a good place”, I replied. Shika was happy seeing my reply and reaction. Seeing her happy made me more happy. We three sat together and had a good conversation.
That was one of my best days.
