Steev's POV :
It was 9:15 PM already. I didn’t even realize what was the time. And sadly my yummy sandwich was over. My plate was empty. I was thinking somewhere my dream about Shika giving me sandwiches got linked with today's incident.
But the reality was beautiful compared to that dream which I saw last night.
“Steev, it’s too late now, shall we leave?”, John asked. “Hmm.. Okay let’s go”, I replied unwillingly. After all the beautiful conversation it was time to go back to our room. “You guys are leaving?”, said Shika. “Yes, as it’s too late we would like to leave. We don’t like staying out too late”, John replied to Shika. “Sorry to stop you again but just a minute”, Shika said and went inside her room.
We wondered what might be the reason. And waited for her to come out and tell us what was the matter. She came with rupees 500 and said, “Thank you for the medicines.. I would like to pay you guys the pharmacy bill. Please keep it”. “No no, this time we will not take the money back”, I replied.
“Yes yes Steev is right, we will not take the money, John added. We did not agree to take money from Shika. And then finally she agreed. “Okay guys fine I will not give the money”, Shika said.
“That’s good”, I said. “Okay then bye Shika see you”, John said. Even I added saying, “Good bye Shika see you”. “Bye guys, good night”, Shika replied.
After all the byes we left from there. Though I was not willing to leave from her house it was not good to stay there late night I thought.
As we were walking on the lane we found one auto rickshaw. With the help of that we reached back our room. We entered the room and sat down. We were already full after eating yummy sandwiches which Shika prepared. So we decided that we will not have dinner. We got freshen up and laid down.
We had lot to speak about. And I was very happy about the day except Shika’s mother’s illness. But we helped her when she was in need and also came to know about her even more better. And the biggest puzzle which was disturbing me had vanished from my mind. I was relaxed.
