Chapter - 40 - Steev's Heated Conversation with John

Steev's POV :

I knew John would never hurt me at any cost but those words of him were quite weird and I felt like he was giving me some message within those words. I asked John, " John! please tell me are you okay? He replied, " Yes Steev, I am completely alright but why what happened?" " You are saying that you are completely alright but your words are indicating something else.", I said. " My words are indicating something else? I have no clue about what you are saying Steev.", said John. " Okay then leave it. I do not want to over think anything anymore.", I said. " No Steev, you need to give me a clarification about what you are talking." , said John. " Okay John, listen to me, You told me that I will be dependent on you whenever you will be around me. I can be independent and I can do all the things by myself only if you are not around me and only if I am alone. This is what you meant right? ", I directly asked John. " Are you crazy Steev? I told you the fact and there is nothing to get worried about it. I see you as my little brother and that is the reason I told you like that. And I can see no wrong in whatever I said. " , John replied. His reply caused me a temporary blank out zone. I never expected John would reply me in that way. His tone was not even polite while giving me a reply. The day which was beautiful was equally werid and heartbreaking as well.
