Chapter - 113 - A hectic day

Steev's POV :

The trainer started training us. And by God's grace I was able to understand whatever he was teaching us. And I concentrated very well What he taught us. As he explained the same way I went on working in my system and I was successfully able to work. And I was glad about it. In between the work Sophia would get some doubts and I was helping her solve them and vise versa whenever I got doubts Sophia was helping me to solve them. And when we both had doubts we used to ask out our trainer and he used to help us. And all of these continued and continued. It was finally 5 p m and we all were happy that finally we were getting to go back home because the day was too hectic for us. But we were seeing that none of the people were getting up from their desk. All were still continuously working and working. I was wondering why was it like that. One of my colleagues called the trainer and asked that, " Sir it's 5 p m already. Why is nobody getting up? And at what time we are supposed to leave from here? " " None of them are getting up because they have not yet completed their work so until they complete their work they are not supposed to leave from here. " , the trainer replied. " Oh my God. " , said Sophia. " Then approximately at what time will they complete their work and get back home ? " , I asked. " It depends sometimes some people will finish their work at 5 p m only,

sometimes some people will finish their work at 6 : 00 PM , sometimes some people will finish their work at 6 : 30 pm and few male employees stay back upto 7 : 00 PM and that is the maximum timing. After 7 : 00 P M none of them are allowed to stay back. ", the trainer replied.

That was really shocking for us we never expected that such thing would take place because the place where I used to work before was never like the new one. When the time comes we had to leave from there. And what they were doing at that office was exactly correct because from morning 9:00 a.m. we would be working continuously, so obviously we would be really frustrated and tired so when 5:00 p.m. comes normally we could get up from our places and go back home. If any work was pending we could complete it the next day and the work load was not to be too much that we would have to extent our timing, that's why the work would go hand in hand but the new place where I had joined was feeling too much because after all we all were human beings and we were not robots so that we could complete all the high volume work in just a day. even though we extend our timing, the extended time might not be too much productive because it would be on our minds that our normal working hour had been come to an end and we were working for extra time and those extra times won't be too much helpful because however we would be too tired of our work from morning and we will be working for extra hours so automatically our energy would drain and speed would decrease. But I agreed that we must have to complete our work with in the given time, if we would not waste our time and pass time at time in between the working hours then definitely we could complete our work before 5:00 p.m. and we could leave easily at 5:00 p.m. and relax later on. I strongly believe that working or doing our work within the specified time really helps us and there was no need for suffering later on. Some people do not work when the time was alloted and or they do not work during the specified timing and then later on they suffer and also would return back home late. Therefore I completely wanted to avoid that situation that is why I had decided there and then that I would not be a victim of such things and I would complete my work before 5 p.m. and I thought that I would explain this to Sophia as well because if we both would complete our work quickly by 5 p.m. then we both could leave together. I was worried about one thing that what if Sophia doesn't complete her work before 5:00 p.m. and what if she would have to extent the work. I really did not have any problem but I was worried that even though I had completed my work by 5:00 p.m. but what if Sophia made me to wait with her , that would be too bad and if I would disagree with that then it might effect our good friendship as well. Then I would have to be all alone without any friends and the partner in the office. And the thing was having no partner in a huge office was too horrible even to think about.

" What are you thinking Steev? " , asked Sophia. " Nothing much Sophia, I was just in some deep thoughts about what the trainer just told us about. " , I replied. " No Steev, please do not worry too much. I know we can handle of these easily. However from right now we will have to concentrate on what our trainer is teaching us and automatically we will be able to understand what are the concepts exactly and how the work exactly works and currently in the day one itself we are doing pretty much great, so I am damn sure that after 2 days we would rock it so have a chill pill. " Sophia said. And yes she was right I felt.

so what about today sir today we are allowed to go home right at 5:00 p.m. because we are in not raining stage one of the colleagues said the trainer replied yes yes of course you guys are allowed to go and you do not think that such things will happen with you all just after your training is over to happen that there is still one month of time left because till one month you people are just fresh employees who came out from the training that's why you guys will not have too much of workload you guys will be provide it with a minimal work that is why I feel you guys will be allowed to go at 5 p.m. itself after a month you guys have to make sure that you do your work on time so that you guys also can leave it 5:00 p.m. after listening to that I took a deep breath and filter bitter relaxed because I was too much worried about that but later on I was a bit relaxed yes so thank you so much for that the person replied yes guys it's already 5 p.m. so you guys can leave today let's meet tomorrow and yes tomorrow directly come to the floor okay do not go to the training room the trainer said. " yes sir definitely thank you I replied. We all got up from our cubicls and said bye to the trainer and also said bye to each other and started walking towards the exit of the floor. After reaching towards the exit we all got down from the staircase and reached the main gate and then after that we all reached the main gate and from there people started splitting from there some people went towards the parking area where they had parked their vehicles. Some people went out of the main gate and Sophia and I together went out of the main gate towards the auto stand because we used to travel through auto every day so we both went and sat in an auto and thank god the auto driver agreed and our journey began for going towards back home. " Steev , what do you feel about whatever the trainer told us today ? " , Sophia asked. I was already tired of the day I did not want to talk more about office works even after coming out of the office. I just wanted to relax once I came out of the office gate that's why in a simple words and clear words I said Sophia that, " Sophia I am really sorry but once we came out of the office let's not talk about office stuffs. Let us talk something else because we will be already done with our work and routine when we came out of the office we will be really tired of listening to the work related things and doing some stuffs and extra that's why after we come out of the office let's not talk about the same stuffs again and again. let's talk something interesting and make our mind also refreshing , you understood what I mean right ? " I said and as usual Sophia understood me and she said , " You are right once after coming out of the office let's speak something else definitely it will make us relaxed. If we speak the same thing again and again the hectic feeling will carry forward. " , she replied. I was glad that I got another friend who always understood me well and did not ask me too many cross questions and explanations.

After I said that Sofia did not take a word about office work she only spoke about her childhood stuffs which was really interesting for me to listen. she said that she was always a naughty child when she was in her childhood and she always was a huge foodie as well. usually kids do not like having food when they will be small because kids will be always interested in playing and running here and there but do not like to have food but in Sophia's case it was different, she was very naughty, playful as well as a huge foodie, and she also said that when she was in her primary school she was in abroad after that later on they shifted back after that she continued her studies and so on. And when I listened all of that it was really joyous and calming to my mind because apart from office work she spoke something sweet and cute and who doesn't like listening and speaking about sweet memories about childhood so obviously I too loved it a lot I did not have any great stories to narrate about my childhood so I just kept quite and went on listening to whatever she said. by the time we were speaking I did not even realise that we had reached our place. so I was consciously sitting because I had to tell the auto driver to stop the auto within 2

two minutes we had reached near the place. That's why I told the auto driver, " please stop the auto here. " , and the auto stopped in the place where i said. That day when we went to office Sophia had paid the auto charge that's why that time I quickly removed the amount and paid it even before she realised it because it would sit inside me as a guilt that's why I did it and I was glad that I did it. It was be always good to go hand in hand other than walking behind someone and another thing was Sophia saw me paying to charge and she did not react anything and that was second most amazing thing happened. She too got down from the auto and then we both together walked. And then she had to walk little bit towards the parallel lane, that's why I said her, " Bye Sophia, see you tomorrow . " , and she too replied, " yes Steev, bye bye let's meet tomorrow. " , she said and went to her home.
