Dad Gets Married

My next visit to see my dad I had every intention to tell him what happened with Stephan Sr. but he had news of his own.

There was new people with us in the car. We were heading to my aunts house this time. I was told that we would only have a short visit this time. Usually when he said that he had to work the rest of the weekend so I did not think anything of it.

When we got to my aunts I was trying to get my dad alone but when I finally got him to myself he said he needed to talk to me. He told me he got married and the lady with him was my new step mother. Incase that wasnt a big enough blow he also told me that the boy and girl in the car were my new step brother and step sister. He also mentioned that I have another step sister that was not there.

Well that stopped me from telling him my news. Now it was not going to be my dad anymore and the lady looked scarey. I was just a very young girl and the guy my mother married was not a good person. I could only guess what a new step mother ment. I mean the only thing I was relating the situation to was books I had read. They made it more scarey. So like I said before I did not say anything. At that point I felt trapped and my sister Christine was the only one I could still talk to.

I tried to make the most out of the rest of the day while separating myself from my new family and clinging to the people I did know.

When my dad took me home I was tired and slept most of the way. He carried me from the car to the front door to my sister who took me to the couch.
