The Aphelion Moon

I was born under the Aphelion moon. I was only of the coldest snowiest days in record. I was only about 2 pounds and sick when I was born. Everyone said they thought I would die soon after my birth. Really I wish I would have most of my life growing up. My older sister was almost out of high school when I was born. We had different dads but she did not seem to care and eventually I understood what that ment but I did not care either. My mother had already left my father before I was born. The man she was with would eventually become our new step father. He was a disgusting and abusive man. My mother never cared for me I do not think. My sister was my world. I had a half brother but he did not want to be around and stayed with his dad. When I was 2 my mother married him. He only married her because she got pregnant with my younger half brother. My step father had 2 daughters much older than the rest of us. They rarely came around to see him. When they did they were drunk and high. It wouldnt be long until I understood why.
