He sucked in a breath through ground teeth, fighting against the pain. His back was on fire and he thought that maybe this was how the others felt when they got burnt by a phoenix's flame. Sweat trickled down his face to the pillow, soaking it. This was the second time and it was longer. The pain more vicious than anything he'd ever experienced. The first, he'd been disappointed since he had gone through so much pain but there was no change. However, today, he could feel it happening. His wings were slowing transforming to fire.
