A foot nudged her, eliciting a groan from her. She was too tired and hungry to open her eyes. Since the others had left, Dalila thought she could get some rest but it seemed like luck wasn't on her side. They must have come to get her again. The thought of fighting with prisoners scared her. She wasn't strong enough to even get up let alone fight for food. The pain she was in overrode her anger. The foot nudged her again and slowly, with much effort, she pried her eyes open.
