“Took you that long to figure it out, huh?” Gage and I were seated on a bench in the park where the kids were busy flying their kites, families on a picnic and couples being ever so happy.
“I had my suspicions hidden by the first day I met you at the clinic. I was the one who carried you and a guy couldn’t be that light unless…” His eyes went down to where my chest was… or where they’re supposed to be anyway.
“Nothing to see there.” He chuckled.
“Okay, I guess this is the part where I have to tell you to shut up at any costs in order to keep my little secret hidden.” I wasn’t really good at threatening people, you see.
“Why? People will find out soon enough anyway.”
“I know, but for the meantime, I’d rather stick to those morons thinking that I’m a guy. It’d be more troublesome on my part if everyone in school knew that I’m the only not so obvious ‘girl’ around.” I explained.
“And if I don’t keep your secret?” He questioned.
“Um… I don’t know. It’s up to you, I guess.” My reasoning skills weren’t really working today, doing me no good at all.
“Fine, I’ll do it… in exchange for something, that is.” Well, that was fast. He’s not going to blackmail me is he?
“What?” I arched an eyebrow.
“Let’s play dress up… you be my Barbie doll for the day.” And with that he stood up, dragged me to his motorcycle and drove off straight to the mall?!
******
“That’d do.” He was grinning from ear to ear, very much satisfied with what he made me wear… a black mini dress, silver heels and a long black wig.
He then pulled out his cellphone then started snapping some photos of me.
“What are you doing, man?” I looked pissed enough in the mirror alone, seeing my girly reflection. Don’t really like dressing up like some doll or a plaything.
“Dirt on you? Nah, scratch that. It’s my way of covering up the word ENTERTAINMENT so don’t you worry.” What is up with his sick fantasies? Pervert.
“So I’m like for your entertainment only?” I asked in an annoyed tone.
“Yeah, baby. This is what’s fun about keeping your secret… using it against you, exclusively!” He started laughing his head off then went on scanning the pictures he took.
He was staring at them quite intently before I snapped his attention, “Can I go change now, please?” I crossed my arms, starting to feel a bit cold with the dress I was in.
“Sure thing… Brooke.” Did he just call me by my first name?
I don’t remember hearing that come out of his mouth before but it sure was weird.
“You look like a completely different person you know.” I heard him say on my way to the dressing room.
“I would’ve dated you if you looked this hot every day.” I did not just hear that…
