Amanda watched Gabriel as he washed the plates. She stared at the bandage around his arm remembering the blood and how she had cleaned him up and shuddered. Last night had been a mess or was it the early hours of the morning? She wasn’t sure. At first, she had gotten scared when she’d seen him covered in blood thinking it was Alex’s but then she’d seen the gash on his arm and her stomach had coiled from the blood coming out of it. She knew about his childhood and how he used to cut himself when he got his panic attacks but she thought he had stopped. He told her he had stopped.
