Chapter 27 The camp looked like a small town. There was the main lodge at the north end of the lake surrounded by a semi-circle of ten cabins. Each cabin had a sign picturing and naming it after one of the baby animals around here. We hoped that the kids could remember if they were cubs, fawns, eaglets, kits, tadpoles, fry, colts, goslings, chicks, or pups. Their name badges also had the same picture so anyone would know right away where the camper belonged. Behind them, there was another semi-circle of ten more cabins for staff. There were two rather large buildings back into the trees, one to the east and one to the west.
