“Where’s this one?” I asked, pointing to a stone building that looked like a small castle. “That’s the one in Spain, near Valencia,” she said. “That was my first. The edges of the roof turned up into peaks, and the trimming was all gold and red. “That’s near Kyoto. It’s gorgeous there.
