Chapter 16Gloria had left a big pan of veal scaloppini with capers and artichokes, in the refrigerator, which just had to be heated. There was also a large bowl of antipasto. We all worked and had it on the table in just over fifteen minutes, thanks to the big microwave. Lillian opened another bottle of wine and we sat down to eat.
