Chapter 17Several weeks had passed; I had started all my classes, and gotten into the schedule of teaching them. Rachel had called before she left three weeks ago and we confirmed that we’d see each other on Christmas. “Will you have a camera with you?” I asked. “Probably.” I could hear Rachel smiling. “I’d sure love to see some pictures,” I informed her. “Then you will,” Rachel said. “I’ll take all I can. I still wish you were coming with me.” “Me, too,” I agreed, “but, I have to work, you know…” “Yes. Your work.
