Chapter 18An hour later, we were in the air.
“I had my office send out the memos to her companies and the obituary to the papers. I’m sure the phones are ringing like mad right now. I asked my secretary to hire more receptionists to answer the phones, if need be. I called Kathy to prepare a room for you. I’m sorry I had to tell her about Rachel over the phone.”
He turned to me with a small smile. “I also had my secretary contact Lillian so she’ll be there for you this evening. I don’t know whether she’s at the condo yet or not.”
“How are you thinking of all these things? My brain turned off when you told me. I had a hard time deciding what clothes to bring.”
