"Thank God," Charlotte exclaimed as soon as her salad was right in front of her. "I would've eaten a while ago but my boyfriend had places to be apparently."
I don't miss the way she said the word boyfriend to stake her claim right in front of Sierra as if it wasn't clear already.
Sierra pretends not to be bothered by that but I can tell she was by the way she lightly slams the plates on the table.
She reaches for the empty milkshake glass to replace with a new one. I move Charlotte's glass near her arm making the water spill all over Charlotte when she pulls back.
She shot right up with a high pitched scream.
"Oh, God. I'm so sorry," Sierra apologizes profusely, grabbing the tissue box and hands it to Charlotte who slaps it from Sierra's hand making it fall on the ground.
