Chapter 7Cade got off the phone and smiled at Ed. “Deke’s in. He was ready to put in his papers. He has a couple of months before his discharge comes through and he says he might have some personal stuff to resolve after that, but he’ll be here before the end of the year.”
Ed nodded and went to the board they’d set up to track their progress.
“We still need to get confirmation from Frankie and we need a strength coach.”
“I’m waiting to hear back from her. There are a lot of moving parts for her and she’s making sure she can put them all in place. As for strength coach, I was thinking about Nick Jacobs.”
“Really?”
