Indus, Northern Arvayarta
After her encounter with the King of Angels, in Pune Kingdom, Charmeine returned to Arvayarta to pack her things. She also must bid his goodbye to her beloved plants and flowers, as well as her home in Arvayarta. She returned safe after such inevitable face to face with the king of all angels in Pune Kingdom in Magnetosphere. Now, that she's temporarily back in Mesosphere, in Arvayarta, it's time for her to say goodbye with her beloved flora.
“I won't bring you to the Indus, my dearest flora. I will be missing you badly, but I am certain that nature will preserve all of you here while I'm going to leave for good. I'll stay in the Indus. Likewise, I have no more right to be here in Arvayarta anymore. The king has spoken and I have decided.”
It breaks her heart, leaving her beloved flora, but it was her decision. She can't back down or break what she decided to do. After all, what she really wanted is peace and stillness away from responsibility. She feels it would be better not to get involved with the gossips she heard when he visited Pune Kingdom. She loves her best friends Salomi and Raguel, but they have responsibilities and tasks to do as left and right hand of the King of Angel.
“Goodbye, my beloved.”
She's about to spread her wings when she saw two angels suddenly appeared from the sky and immediately stands in front of her. It was Salomi whose sadness is visibly shown from his eyes, while Raguel is weeping, walking towards her to hug her.
“What are you two doing here, Salomi, Raguel? You have work to do in Pune Kingdom. The King has assigned you to choose a new Goddess of Harmony, right?” she asks, trying to hide her loneliness.
“Do you really mean it, Charmeine?” Charmeine can feel the sadness and guilt on Salomi's voice, while Raguel keeps on hugging her.
“What do you mean, Salomi?” she pretended not to know.
“Your decision to leave Arvayarta for good and stay in the Indus. Don't you realize that it's a secluded and remote part of Pune Kingdom? Not even a single angel is there. It's a boundary between the world of angels and the world of demons, Charmeine. You know that, right, do you?” Salomi slowly raises his voice, and Raguel stops sobbing and crying in Charmeine's arms.
“Salomi is right, Charmeine. You can still break free from the decision you made with the King. We can help you encourage him to give you a chance, Charmeine,” Raguel added and said what's on her mind, but Charmeine just shake her head.
“I understand both of you. You know clearly that I don't want responsibility, Salomi, Raguel. I have made my decision long before the king of angels offered me that position. And I prefer not to change that. I'm sorry, but it's about time for me to go. Please be a good left and right assistance to our king. Send my regards to him and tell him that I thanked him for not removing my powers. Stripping off as a female angel on the list in Pune Kingdom are enough, so I can live a quiet life in the Indus. I'll be missing you both. Please take care of Raguel for me, Salomi. Goodbye.”
Charmeine doesn't want to stay longer. She does not want them to see her sadness or cry in front of them. She's almost almost crying, but she's able to control it. After spreading her wings, she immediately fly above and disappeared in Arvayarta, leaving Raguel and Salomi watching her from the sky.
“We need to accept Charmeine's fate, Raguel. And understand her decision. That's the only thing she needed from us,” Salomi confronted Raguel, but deep inside, he's also hurt because the woman he longed to be with will disappear from his sight forever. Whatever feelings he has for her, he must leave it all in space.
“I do. I understand her. I just can't accept that she still choose her pride among us, her best friends,” Raguel pointed out Charmeine's flaw, but inside her heart, she wishes her happiness.
“Do not say that, Raguel, we, angels must not mention any part of the deadliest sin. And that includes the word pride. It's an evil word for us, angels,” Salomi confronted her.
“I'm sorry. I just carried away. It is not my intention to imply that. Furthermore, I think, it's about time to return to Pune. The applicants are swarming like locust earlier when we left, and I am confident, they are all piling up and falling in line outside the gate,” Raguel apologized and wipe her tears in front of Salomi. She was staring to him. If only he can feel how much she likes him, she'll be the happiest angel in Pune Kingdom.
“Right. I must prepare the challenges they have to face to become worthy of the title. Let's head back, Raguel,” Salomi replied then raise his head and showed his wings then jump up high.
Raguel followed seconds after he left. She, too, must prepare to ask questions to the applicants who wish to become the next Goddess of Harmony. Her instinct says that Salomi will give them a hard time performing their task on his challenges.
…
Indus, Northern part of Arvayarta
After almost two hours flying from above, Charmeine reached the Indus. She moved down slowly and before her feet steps into the ground of the Indus, she made a barrier to protect the area and herself from danger. She was spreading her hands and poured some glitters then circled.
“That's more like it. I've had enough for the day and I have to seal the area. I need a relaxing sleep.”
She keeps on humming and whispering words in her word while she slowly went down. When her feet steps on the ground, she saw some parts of the forest barren and creepy. Instead of scaring herself, Charmeine uses her powers. She closes her eyes then slowly raises her hands and sways her hips left and right then sing and dance.
As she slowly walks towards the barren land, she keeps on singing and when she reaches it, she touches the soil and confirmed that the barren one can still grow some flowers and plants. And what she did next was poured out some seeds of sunflowers, branch of wild orchids, and made a house of her own with her magic.
