"Hey, I'm serious," sabi pa ni Ronan. Nasa work area na siya niya noon. "Why don't we give it a try?"
Hindi niya ito sinagot. Pinaikutan niya lang ito ng mga mata.
"Nika, don't you really find me attractive?" Naupo sa silyang nasa harapan ng mesa niya ang binata.
"Mr. Smith, need I remind you again? It's already eight-thirty. You have a meeting in thirty minutes, Sir."
"Cancel it," seryoso nitong sagot.
Pinandilatan naman niya ito. "Do you want to get fired? It's an important meeting."
"Let them fire me. I'm not staying long anyway."
Ronan will be going back to America in six months. Although his parents were investors in the company, he wasn't particularly treated special. Empleyado lang din ito na may mataas na posisyon sa kumpanya.
